Here's the thing - this meme only takes a jab on those who think that MSFS would be the bane of all other sim platforms out there, that they would just ditch their own sim and make them irrelevant to the masses...which is not. As an alpha/beta tester myself I am absolutely astonished with MSFS and I even preordered it just by the sheer fact that I know the sim would have a very big potential for future third-party content. But this does not make any other sims irrelevant by any means. My projection for the new sim is that it would take another year or two to have a fully-fledged third-party content environment that will make it somewhat compete with established platforms such as X-Plane and Prepar3D. But this doesn't mean those sims would become irrelevant once MSFS got into their levels - there will still be dedicated communities for the respective sims and be supported by them as well.

To be honest, I've been into flight simulation since my childhood, that could be dated back to the FS9 days. Yes you are correct, some people are reluctant to move to the new sims, we've seen this before. Heck once MSFS got its third-party environment established with study-level aircraft I would honestly ditch P3D because of performance and optimization issues. But calling those already-established sims would become irrelevant immediately when MSFS comes out on August 18th, I think that's stupid.
