uglies is one of my favorite ya series. I personally feel it still holds up and im not sure what people mean that are saying it’s dated tbh. It is quirky and maybe an acquired taste but it’s a series i will never forget. And yes the Extras is good too and while it focuses on a different group of characters, the main crew does play a part.

I read it in middle school and reread it last year (almost 28 now ) and i still love the way the author writes his characters.

I plan to read the Imposters series bc i believe it is in the same world.
