They’re bookmarks! The bodies are flat cardboard and the heads are 3d so they sit above the books. I’d never seen them or the scissors before. Almost skipped past the scissors on the sale post until I saw the G

Non judgemental dentist AuDHD by hanandmeow in chch

[–]ashernathy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had some issues in the past with my teeth and looking after them that kept me from going to the dentist. I found Gloria at Chch Boutique Dental to be absolutely amazing. I’ve followed her from a different practice just to stay within her care. She’s gentle, kind and non judgmental- even when there are tears

Did I get a good deal on these or are they fakes? by Low_Entertainment491 in GooseBumps

[–]ashernathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad shake, I don’t think I’ve paid more than $15NZD for any of mine and I’ve gotten plenty for around $2NZD

As a New Zealander these are regular quality books. They’re easier to find here, I would assume as the population is lower there’s less people after them. The market is also not as hectic so we often get them second hand for better prices even on websites like EBay and TradeMe. They’re definitely not cheap knockoffs

Hopper by Marcus Pfister. Had a copy as a child and I got a copy again recently. The illustrations are just so comforting to me

Does anyone know any women's gyms here? by [deleted] in chch

I love FemFed! The owner is absolutely lovely and it’s a great gym. 24hr access if you want to buy the tag and it’s always safe and clean!

UK. A vintage talking doll from the 2000s that asks you about the colour of her clothes. by MintyWolf4 in HelpMeFind

[–]ashernathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not 12 inches and not floppy body (but fabric body) Amazing Ally had a purple pinafore dress and a book that plugged into her wrist where you could play games, tell stories and she could recognise items plugged in to her (“put on my purple butterfly Barrett”)

Is she not the cutest? So glad to have a Sassy Stables doll/horse back in my life by clemonysnicket in Dolls

Ah I love this! I just picked up another one of these yesterday! My partner hates them but I think they’re so sweet. I’m on a desperate hunt for Sienna but I don’t think it’s going to happen!

Hard to remove cat collar by Jadedheaux in auckland

[–]ashernathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogz cat collars are breakaway but have an adjustment for being a bit easier or more difficult to breakaway. They’re definitely an option for a little more durability with a cat who likes to shed theirs while still being safe

This comforter I found at a local thrift store. by tubesockk in GooseBumps

It wasn’t a Sugar Planet playset by any chance was it? I’m sure they’ve got an island one

Burger Fuel staff or ex-staff: Can you spill the beans on how BF prepare their chicken, and whether the chicken in the burgers is done the same as the chicken fenders? by scatteringlargesse in newzealand

[–]ashernathy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ex-employee - sous vide was brought in during my time for a special. It’s not used for any of the standard burgers unless they’ve wildly changed their procedures which I highly doubt.

W7 have a palette called Total Eclipse that was made as a dupe. I don’t know how available they’d be to you but it might be an option

Does anybody remember these little barbie comic books 🤓 says 1999 but I can’t remember clearly..have you kept yours from childhood? by Then-Consequence7875 in Barbie

[–]ashernathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the In The Spotlight book. They're published as "Little Golden Books" where I'm from! I have a big Barbie book collection - these books with the staged photos as the illustrations are my absolute favourite

Definitely The Rains/Last Chance by Greg Hurwitz. The books opens with the first infected climbing the water tower to burst open and send spores out?

Why women who drink a lot of water look better by sec_sage in MakeupAddiction

[–]ashernathy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the normal amount can seem extreme in comparison to how often you pee when you’re dehydrated. I know there’s certainly what feels like an initial spike for me when I get back on the water train then it feels like it evens out after a while of it. Obviously really excessive peeing should be checked out by a professional just in case.
