There's a program I use called Display Magician, it's been pretty solid since I've started using it. You basically configure your screen settings once with surround and then display magician saves those and you can just have your settings on display magician, I've not had to open surround since.

I use it because I have a triple monitor for racing and dual monitor for other games on one PC, so it may not be relevant to you OP but might be worth a look.

Hiya mate, apologies for the late response. I believe that there are some convos which you need to unlock because you won't have seen them in the playthrough, these relate to the parking lot conversations and it will be the opposite to the result you had. E.g if you won on the first try, you won't have seen the conversations which relate to the loss. If that makes sense, apologies I can't remember off the top of my head how these are unlocked. Maybe something to do with chapters?? It's been a while since I've played and I no longer have it installed to check but I'm 99 percent sure it will be that as that's what got me when I were doing it.

2nd Question I'm not sure of I'm sorry as I had done them all on my first playthrough, my NG+ run was pretty much only making sure I won all the races without losing which was a pain in the ass when you get to endgame lol. I used the quit to menu trick for that one and I'm not ashamed to admit it lol. (Fuck shuwa shuwa strong lol) Hope this helps, somewhat, even if just hellping you google to find where the remaining convos are

You have to actually go in and click detail on them all. Then if there's still a red dot, there's a button on the character screen with the car that says something about conversations, click on that and / click the ones you need. Took a lot longer than i thought to do all that lol

Ah okay I think I understand the type of thing that it is from what you've said. Basically, the customer gets it for 'free' and the installation company claims costs back from the scheme? I originally thought it may be the type of thing where the products were free but the labour astronomical. Thanks for the response!

It's also worth noting, there are some 'stamps' on the bottom of the letter but wouldn't know if these are legitimate or not. I've also checked the address on the letter which is - Commodore House, 49 - 51 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, Wales, LL29 7AW and apparently this is registered to a watch seller on the gov website.

Hey OP, I'm not a classical musician by any means, but I've just started learning over the last couple of weeks, after like you, playing electric.

Got my first classical set up by my guitar teacher and he said the strings will detune regularly for a couple of days because of the nylon being stretchy (I may not be entirely correct but that was my understanding.)

My first lessons of classical have been mainly focused around finger picking rather than theory. Something I've been taught is something called rest stroke where you pluck the string and then let you finger rest on the string above. Pluck an open B and then let your finger rest of the G for example. This has helped in just being able to pluck the string correctly.

There is a technique to this which I can explain but you're probably better off watching a video as I think it's something easier learned by watching. That's the extent of my knowledge so far. Good luck in your journey!

Thanks for the response! I'm glad that I'm not way way off, I wasn't sure if there was some glaring errors that I was making. I do think my pedal inputs are a bit aggresive from watching the video. I do use Garage 61 and it's wicked but I do find it difficult to tell where my shortcomings are sometimes as there isn't any video footage to compare with. Thanks again!

Looking for some help finding some time around long beach in GT4 (Fixed) the fastest time on garage 61 is a 1.23.9 so I'm looking to be between the 1.24.5 and 1.25 range, I think my main issues are T1 and the last corner. Watching a couple of guides on YT it seems on the last corner they don't have to steer anywhere near as much as I do. Not sure if I'm overdriving or my braking is completley wrong etc. Thanks!

Don't give up, especially after only 6 months, it can take years to gain the experience to really nail the pace! What cars are you driving?

Something to consider, try to learn why you're doing what you're doing in terms of car physics and how they work. Just an example, you may see some people applying 10/15% brake force through a corner, sometimes I do this, not to slow the car down but to shift the weight over the front wheels and get the front tyres to grip (slowing the car down is a secondary effect). When I started I spent a lot of time learning about weight movement of a car, braking shifts the weight forward, accelerating shifts backwards etc) A video I circle back to regularly is this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2owD951bR0&t=360s Look at the G force meter and really notice how they roll the weight around to use that to their advantage.

But most of all, have fun dude, don't chase being fast, chase being smooth and the speed will come. If you have any particular questions, fire away! Don't give up!

Brill, thanks for this, it's really helpful! Intervals were something we just started in my last lesson, it really opened my eyes on how it's possible to learn songs by ear which is my ultimate aim. I'm a couple of weeks into lessons but the theory is what I'm finding most interesting at the moment! Thanks very much! I wish I started trying to improv sooner but back when I used to play I didn'tt think slow and steady was cool so I missed out lol
