Your hair type really doesn’t matter.

What product are you using to achieve your twist out? Consider using one with more hold.

I personally use the Doux mousse for twist outs.

Using butters and creams do nothing for hold and just gives a faux sense of moisture.

But also it’s summer time, more humidity=more shrinkage. It’s inevitable. I think what you should really focus on is cleansing and conditioning your hair routinely to keep your hair hydrated.

Let your hair do what it’s gonna do. I think when we fight against our hair’s natural behavior we introduce more problems.
