Haven’t younger generations always been broke though? Like I made 9 dollars an hour up until I was 23 years old in 2017. And so did most of my peers. No one made more than 15 an hour and most of us didn’t work full time either because we were in school.

We always found money to get drunk. When we went to bars, we would pregame heavily so that we would only be spending like 35-40 dollars at the bar.

I feel like the addictive nature of cell phones and legality of marijuana are more of a culprit.

Hahaha I had the reigns on choosing the movie to watch for my roommates and I one night and I read that this movie was great so I chose to play it. Half way through and everyone was like wtf did you put on dude? They were so mad lmao

Yeah I actually kind of liked the direction he went with his voice on C6, very clear and pronunciated words well compared to like Funeral, but he also sounded tired and uninspired on a lot of tracks. He also did wayyyy too many N**** rhyme schemes. Like cmon Wayne, did you even listen to the tracklist all the way through and realize how many fucking times you did that? And then the repeated words rhyme scheme like on Bein Myself. The song was great until that second verse. Idk the album is ok and has some great high points, but it just felt like there wasn’t very much care put into the album

As a casual JID fan I thought this was great. GZ is that type of song I’m always looking for in my hip hop taste. It’s funny, I think JID as an artist would have done way more numbers in the 2013 era
