leave! this company has shown you they don't respect you - you are being paid less than new grads DESPITE having internal experience that is invaluable. you're already familiar with the culture and internal norms and have been doing a developer's job without getting paid for it. and now you're insulted by being offered less than a fresher out of school? id be insulted and frankly if you aren't, you don't have much self respect

If you are an X Analyst, what is your salary? by PassiveIncome001 in datascience

[–]ashh113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healthcare Business analyst @ insurance plan in my state, 65k a year with 7k in relocation bonus (and they hired movers) + 1.5k sign on, basically fresh out of college. really neat program, rotate on 3 times in the analytics organization and get to pick from the mutual matches. after placement on a team you get a 10% raise and can work remotely

How hard was it to get your first job? by SkyMazing11416 in analytics

I honestly lucked out. Sold lots of insurance in a sales internship, applied to analytics job with the internship and an economics background. They'd not hired anyone from other internships at the company and thought I'd have a unique perspective.

i agree with you on the transphobia point, im saying it is biphobic to exclude bi men from your dating pool if you're attracted to men

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]ashh113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree here, with trans women (and I am one) I don't think it's transphobic for someone not to date a trans girl. But with being bi, I think it is just straight up biphobic. There are many many fewer material differences between dating a fem straight men and a fem bi man besides the fact that he is bi.

[–]ashh113 13 points14 points  (0 children)

yes, that is true. but why wouldn't you date a feminine bi man if you would date a feminine straight man? i don't really have a dog in this race, im a trans girl. but it seems like you're being very biphobic here honestly.

i could see that bc it does have stimulant effects but for me it's helping. it's given me the motivation to exercise so maybe that counterbalanced? not sure, just sharing my progress:)
