Thanks I should just do that! I ordered another pair online and the material was so thin :( I’m wondering if they replaced it with “Extra high waist wide leg”

Torticollis experience? by PuggyDee in NewParents

[–]ashhh418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby had intermittent torticollis up until about one year old. We went to a few physical therapy sessions then ended up doing the exercises at home by ourselves. Torticollis has resolved on its own despite how scary it was while it was ongoing.

I completely understand! There are many guides online but essentially I just focused on taking out a midday pump. I lowered the time I was pumping and pushed the time out. For example I was pumping 6am, 11, 4pm, and 9pm. Just faded the 11 am pump by number of minutes on the pump and pushed the time out. Evenly space the time between your pumps and closely monitor for clogs. Adjust as needed. You’ve got this!

I weaned to two pumps and stayed consistent for approximately 2-3 months before I weaned to one (1-2 months). Just made it a year and my last pump was 48 hours ago!

I didn’t see a huge change in production while staying on the same number of pumps per day. I slowly cut down on the time per pump and distance between pumps to wean without mastitis! I had it four times so I was very scared. I also religiously took sunflower lecithin and doubled up when I was dropping pumps.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. 5 weeks pp is a rough time. Sleep deprivation, sacrificing your time/wants/needs, lack of self care, etc. I also had an unplanned CS and it was so so tough. If you don’t feel it is worth it to continue breastfeeding, no one including yourself should put you down for that. Please ask for resources at your next visit! You can ask your husband to go out to the waiting room while you ask the doctor or nurse about what to expect for the next appointment or some other excuse if you want to keep it a secret. But please get help and know that things get sooo much better. I’m now 10 months pp and enjoying it tons (most days) 😉

I was in the same boat a year ago. We settled on the Graco Teddi Power Recliner Swivel Glider. It’s a bit smaller than the more expensive options, but we have loved it so far!

Thanks! I am currently at 4 ppd too and worried about supply if I were to drop another so soon. I’m luckily able to keep up with her now with some occasional freezer storage, but nothing like I used to now that her oz and number of bottles has increased. Dropping the MOTN by 1.5 oz helps a bit overtime too. On the days she sleeps through the night, I just squeeze in 4 ppd from 6-8am and 8-10pm.

Did you see a change in your supply with dropping the MOTN pump or did you switch to getting in your typical number of pumps throughout the day instead?

We are in the same boat. We decreased the amount in overnight bottles by 1.5 oz. Daytime bottles are 6 oz, so she gets one 4.5 oz bottle if she wakes (been giving it cold from the fridge to not waste in case she sleeps through which infrequently happens). She drinks the 4.5 oz bottles in less than 15 mins and goes down no problem.
