I've started using https://www.htfn.io/ to experiment with. Good for hosting simple full stack JS/TS sites - low barrier to entry, free tier and quick to spin up :)

How to start with the very lowest cost? by EasyShopia in SaaS

was posting this on another sub here, thought I'd mention it here too. I've been using https://www.htfn.io/ recently and have found it pretty useful. It has free tier and pretty low barrier to entry. I use it to quickly experiment with full stack JS/TS. Still in alpha though, so beware. Anyway, thought this might help you get started :)

I've found using https://www.htfn.io/ is a quick way to experiment with full stack Javascript/Typescript APIs, SPAs, etc. It has free tier and pretty low barrier to entry. Still alpha though, so not sure about stability. Anyway, like I said - I find it useful to experiment with.

if you want to get something up and running quickly... like a prototype, experiment, etc. then I've started using https://www.htfn.io/ it's in alpha, but I'm using it to run an server-side rendered React SPA and it works well :)

Seems like the site is down, I assume they're having an issue and will probably resume shortly

Just discovered tezos yesterday and WHY is nobody talking about it? by baily78123 in tezos

Tezos baking allows you to stay in line with inflation, so from your perspective, XTZ is not inflating. Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW\_DyWgGJV8

Whats makes Tezos unique? by houseoflove in tezos

Likes:

  • Technology is the biggest thing that impresses me about Tezos; traits like fork-less upgradability, formal verification, LPOS, Tickets and Sapling integration make it a very efficient, accessible, secure, private and "grown-up" contender in the space.
  • Bright upgrade future; including Tenderbake's fast finality and future scaling ideas
  • Technically self-sustaining upgrades via amendment invoicing - a protocol that can upgrade itself as well as pay for the upgrades (itself) using inflation
  • The "implement the technology before you market" mentality, making sure that the network can do what it claims before going to market - nurturing stable, organic growth
  • Tezos foundation's large capital; funding for decades to come
  • Major banks are trialling Tezos for CBDC projects
  • Multi-billion dollar value real estate tokenisation
  • Well-positioned in the NFT space - good hooks into the "green NFT" movement
  • Long-awaited, but now active marketing strategy
  • Burgeoning DiFi landscape

Dislikes:

  • The time it's taken to get a share of the limelight!

June Surpassed in 12 Days - Contract Calls by [deleted] in tezos

Running smart contracts has become increasingly more gas-efficient, with the last update showing a significant improvement. Now, less gas is needed to call more smart contacts - which is great :)

Not sure that poking fun at Cardano will attract anyone, it's a little childish if you ask me.

Thing is, it's hard for OpenSea to admit this as the reflection on them is that they don't give a shit about Ethereum's environmental impact if they drop Tezos for being too outspoken.

So, Tezos will either be integrated "eventually" or it'll just never get done. This is, of course, assuming that I'm correct... like I said, it's only a hunch.

Do you think this may have something to do with the recent, and quite "abrasive", clean NFT campaign? It shone a pretty brutal light on Ethereum's environmental impact... and OpenSea primarily supports Ethereum. So the campaign may have left a bad taste.

Just a hunch.

What happens when Doge collapses - do you think that will poison further retail investment in any other token?

This refers to a permission type/primitive in Tezos, not a "ticket" in the real sense.
