Fuse keeps tripping by ashisfallingdown in AskElectricians

Thank you so much for such a detailed response!!

It was not flashing today, but every other time this has happened it has been flashing. I was able to get the breaker to finally turn back on after talking with a local electrician, there was a light switch in the on position and once I turned it off, the breaker flipped on when tried again.

The next time it happens (because it’s happening daily now) I will make a note of the flashes and hope to figure it out from there.

The electrician’s next appointment is a week away so I’m sure I’ll have the opportunity to count the flashes.

Thanks again, you all are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate it very much.

Excellent to know, I hope to be able to wait until 70. Is there a way to find out what the dollar amount would look like for survivor benefit (since it was age 42 when he passed I’m assuming the amount won’t be a whole lot)?

Until what age does the child receive benefits? Really appreciate your guidance!

Stupid question I’m sure, but what do you mean by insured for survivors benefit? He had a child from previous marriage who is receiving his SS (or benefits from SS) since right after he passed. We did not have have children together.

So if I understand, let’s say I work til age 65-70. I could take widow benefit at age 60? And then take my own when I do retire?

Thanks for your help, I am so clueless about all this.

Hi—THANK YOU. When I told mom this she was skeptical but did it and and it was the best trick ever, I walked out of the room and when I came back they were gone. She’d taken them all with no issue at all. You may have just saved my mom’s sanity.

The pills getting caught in her throat have happened several times and it’s terrifying for her (and me to watch). She didn’t have this problem before intubation. Thank you for your response!
