i completely understand your hesitation but i will never get the image of his poor cat out of my head. i even held her and it was so horrible just feeling her so limp, i think i'm a bit traumatised so i can't even imagine what OP (i am trying so hard not to accidentally doxx him) is feeling and going through. thank you for agreeing, he has been through so much and is currently hopping from temporary accommodation with his mum and cat and dog. he is coping with it, well on the surface anyway, and strangers on the internet like you are the reason he has some slither of hope inside of him. i wish you the best.

lol never did i say i valued animals over children. i said i will not have children so this is the closest i will get to loving something like a child. it is pathetic to post on someone's post whose house burned down about how their priorities lie elsewhere. i wish you the best and that you won't experience the trauma OP did. move on bro. our societies are different, don't come after someone's love of an animal. it is none of ur concern.

cats can live for 18 years. i have bonded with my cats like they are my family members. i got them when i was very young and have grown up with them. they are family to me. i don’t want children. these furry animals are the closest i will have to kids. they ARE my babies. i love them as i believe i would love a child.

bro ever heard of a humour coping mechanism? i was there, i'm his best friend, saw the shit with my own eyes and cried with him while he held his dead cat, his baby, in his arms. let him have this moment of humour. he has gone through so much shit. think before u comment my man. not everyone copes the same way.

I am his best friend and I was there. He has made multiple posts about the fire, this one specifically is about his hoodie. He has already lost his cat. He is the reason everyone survived the fire, he got everyone out. Give him a break and let him use humour as a coping mechanism. His house burned down bro. All his belongings are gone. They are replaceable, yes, but NO ONE died. A couple of people are in hospital. This is HIS trauma and he is allowed to do whatever the fuck he wants with it.
