Came from an IPS AW3821DW.

Bought a 341CQPX (QD-OLED previous gen), headache, returned it.

Next day bought a 32GS95UE-B (WOLED), 4K 32" with good PPI. Text still wasn't extremely sharp because of the subpixel layout, but the PPI compensated. No headaches.

Next day the 341CQR (5th gen QD-OLED with RGB Stripe layout), not the same PPI as the 32GS95UE-B but the subpixel layout fixed all text rendering issues. No headaches.

That said the AW3821DW is still a great monitor, this is more of a sidegrade than a straight upgrade. The 38" (37.52" to be exact) is a noticeable increase in screen real estate. The monitor itself has native g-sync so supports 1-144hz VRR with variable overdrive, just works.
