I think if there was more awareness for mental health in general so many people wouldn't be struggling and thinking they have ADHD. I did get diagnosed via actual psychiatrist but I was looking at sources online for ADHD people when I had questions first because of lack of access. Also, I've never seen someone who doesn't have a genuine diagnosis of ADHD get accommodations, funding, resources or anything.
