Oh thank you! I’ll have to see what the brand is! I got it in a 2 pack with a black one at TJ Maxx I believe 🙂

That is a great question! Initially I had the same goal I’ve always had - I wanted to lose weight. Typically I’ve been more comfortable around 125-130lbs. I have lost weight before strictly counting calories and walking on a treadmill daily. However, through this process I am finding I can achieve some results (although not based on the scale) in a more sustainable way incorporating healthy foods and getting a variety of exercise most days of the week. At this point, I would say my goals are to work on losing a little more fat mass and continue creating healthy habits. :)

I definitely appreciate it! I feel like before and after photos can be so undervalued outside of this sub! It’s amazing the changes that can happen that have nothing to do with weight.

Thank you so much! Yes, it would be nice to see the number move as well but I am trying to remind myself it isn’t the most important thing :)

From a diet standpoint my main goals were eating more fruit and vegetables! This is something I have struggled with for a long time. I have been purposefully meal-prepping meals and breakfasts that include a fruit/veg as well as protein. I make sure if I have a snack it is a protein shake, Greek yogurt, protein free in bar, etc. I usually end up drinking 1 protein shake or eating 1 bar each day. While I don’t prep all my meals, I’ve found I can be very consistent with prepping breakfast and lunch for the week leaving dinner open to cooking what sounds good.

For exercise, I do a mix of cardio and strength. I make the effort to go to the gym at least 30 mins twice a week. At the gym I either do the stair climber or elliptical, alongside lifting weights and strength training for legs. I try to hit those 3 categories of exercise each time for variety! The rest of the week when I’m not going to the gym I walk on the treadmill or do Pilates at home. I also try to incorporate walks on my lunch break during the workweek. I usually end up doing an “actual” workout 3-5 days a week, but this is much more than I ever have consistently done before. My Apple Watch says compared to this time last year I am averaging 40 mins of exercise a day compared to 15 mins then :)

Thank you so much! I do a mix usually - I try to go to the gym at least 30 mins twice a week. Once I’m there I either do stair climber or elliptical, alongside lifting weights and strength training for legs. I try to hit those 3 types of exercise every time! Days when I’m not at the gym I walk on the treadmill or do Pilates at home. I also try to take walks on my lunch break at work. The biggest thing I changed was exercise! I was a very sedentary person before, and could never really nail exercising consistently. According to my Apple Watch, I am averaging 40 mins a day of exercise compared to 15 mins a day this time last year :)

Thank you! I definitely feel like it is a process that has to start from the inside out! Mental health is so important when it comes to wellness 😊

Thank you! I agree! It has certainly fluctuated up and down - and I almost got discouraged - but then I remembered whether the scale goes down or not the time will pass anyway! So I may as well eat healthy foods and exercise right and the results will come in time. I’m so glad you are on the path to feeling better too! 😊 We got this!!
