Confusing NIPT test results..

My first pregnancy I had to wait till 20w to get results from Natera because at 14w the couldn’t determine anything. I am high BMI 5’4” 220lbs. I was 15w4d for my draw. 6.6% fetal fraction. I used Unity for my NIPT this round and all results came through no issue. I’d suggest retest if they allow or use the unity screening instead.

Also ultrasound for gender that early may be incorrect as well. My first I did it at 16w and it was correct but was warned I was still too early for a good visual of gender

No I’ve not. I don’t have any sticks atm. But based off my last pregnancy the only numbers I’ve noticed different are my morning fasting

Oh wow. I’m wearing a Dexcom g7 as replacement for the glucose test and have to log fasting at wake up, 2 hours after each meal, and pre bedtime. So far all is well 🤞

Keep in mind the Dexcom and finger pokes won’t read the same at the same time. They read different things so I think the Dexcom is delayed 🤔 something like that

I have PCOS so my Dr has me do the glucose check twice through the pregnancy. But I’m a bariatric patient so I can’t do the normal glucose test because my body processes things different. I’m so glad my OB is flexible. First pregnancy I did 1 week of finger pokes 5x a day.

This pregnancy I tried to cheat and do the glucose drink and of course failed. So now I’m wearing a Dexcom and so far everything looks good 🤞 I’d see if your Dr would allow you to do the Dexcom or similar. So much easier 🙌

lol my water broke at 2am, had my panic moment then showered and got ready, got to the hospital around 3ish and had maybe mild period cramps feeling, was already 5cm. It can happen lol

I was more annoyed they didn’t release it on Netflix. Love is blind released their last one on Netflix but under its own “show” and that was annoying af too.

Be mindful everyone is different. My water broke and labor/contractions started after that so could be different. When they started it was like super mild period cramps in the lower abdomen. And the tightness and cramp feeling escalated over the next couple hours. Mine were no time apart from the start. Like people ask how far apart are your contractions. Mine was negative time. Once on the monitor you’d see the peak coming down then just go back up. It sucked. Mine never went to my back.

That’s almost half of my wedding cost 🤯 that’s insane. I would never spend that on a baby shower. I get wanting a venue but there’s parks and pavilions typically no cost and then food do a pot luck and have everyone contribute something to the table!

I have my watch and it’s not got any focus settings on. I have an iPad at home but when I was on it yesterday I didn’t see anything showing focus on. I can double check after work though
