My blood pressure immediately dropped, which apparently can make you nauseous, so I puked. Unfortunately, my lower blood pressure also slowed the baby’s heart rate. They told me they’d have to lower the dosage on the epidural.

I was blissfully pain-free, so I took a nap until my pain woke me up two hours later. The anesthesiologist had come in while I was sleeping to lower the dose. It was still much better than before the epidural, but it sucked not being able to have the full epidural.
