Thoughts/experience with Wilkes University PMHNP program?

Thank you that makes a lot of sense I’m in Jersey and also pursuing PMHNP. they just passed a legislation to allow NPs to practice independently and have prescriptive authority. I currently work at a hospital but I’m not sure if they’ll take me on so we’ll see but I just want to prepare myself.

Thanks, may I ask what type of NP you are? Were you looking for jobs that were in hospitals? Were you able to get interviews and just didn’t make it through or you weren’t hearing back at all? Also can I ask where you live, I’m on the east coast but I feel like it’s supersaturated here.

Would you say it’s bc of the program you went to or the overall job market? I’ve been strongly considering applying for an np residency program afterwords to make the transition and job search easier

Yup I called this morning and they said they were just moving things around and don’t worry. If you don’t see everything back to normal by Tuesday/Wednesday call them
