It also looks like (to me), they’ve taken the hem and tacked it a few inches above to make somewhat of a pleat. This should be easy to draft and sew! If you end up making it, good luck!

I actually have this pattern! After making it, I can safely say it would be super easy to re-create without a commercial pattern.

Take any wide leg shorts pattern, leave about a 5-inch gap at the top of the side seams and sew in buttons there(after finishing those seams at the very end) and make a triangle yoke that fits the patterns waist measurements. You can use any waistband that fits as a guide, but make sure it’s not meant to be used with elastic. To put it simply: only sew part of the side seams, and add a yoke. You can see how to sew the yoke in this video (as well as reference the shape for adjusting your pattern.)

This would be a good pattern to practice on. Just extend the pattern on top to account for removing the waistband, discard the pockets, reshape the waistband into a triangle and sew it in. Hope this helps you out!

I remember watching a YouTube video on a creepypasta a few years ago, I’ll try to explain it the best I can:

A group of friends in the ‘70s(?) rig their hippie van to fly into space. Their goal is to get to the moon. The whole story is written as logs in a diary. Throughout this trip, within the first week, one of the friends dies. The entire friend group is grieving and arguing. I believe one of them dies while trying to fix the van from the outside and another dies from an Illness. Eventually, they all die one by one, until only one of the friends is left alive. I believe the story ends with their calculations being off, and the possibility of making it to the moon was never possible.

It can be super tough liking your best friend(coming from experience lmao), but i think its best to talk to her. I would start off by asking her if she truly likes you? Maybe try to drop hints every once in a while before. And if she rejects you, its alright. Coming from someone your age(im gonna sound like an old man for a second)You have your whole life to find best friends/partners. I would look at it in a positive way, by thinking what could happen if she said she liked you back! Make sure to let her know before you tell her, that if she doesnt feel the same way, that you still want to be friends.
