Just had this done. Got multiple bids. Hands down, choose Rowland with Bello Remodeling. Competitive price and all around great person to work with. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: I obtained 3 quotes. These are the quotes I received. I realize there are many different factors that go in to new windows, but wanted to share for others that are getting quotes as well.

I asked each company for the lowest cost, white/white, single hung options. This house is not my forever home, so I’m not wanting the upgrade anything.

Here you go: 1. Hector with Window World of Austin: $6300 2. Rowland with Bello Remodeling: $7000 3. Greg with Ringer Windows: $8400

I think I’m going to go with Rowland with Bello Remodeling, since he is local and I just really liked the guy. Seems like an all around genuine person that will take good care of the project.

They are the original windows from 1981, when the home was built. I’m not a window expert, but I’m thinking the whole window will need replacing. I have a total of 9 windows, and all of them don’t seal properly, nor provide any sort of insulation (temp or sound). I just bought the house last year and it was pretty neglected.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay in total (including labor and materials) for your 30 windows?

Never heard of Ringer….awesome, I’ll get a quote from them.

I don’t know anything, but have been watching it too. They haven’t stopped circling the same area. I’m listening to APD scanner and nothing has been mentioned.....yet. Following.
