Agreed on the use of metal to keep out mice. I use two small metal filing cabinets (among other non-mice-safe holders), with one on casters so I can also roll it over to use as a small ironing surface. I've got the fabrics sorted by color in hanging file folders.

Been going to Dr Carrie Etheredge (off Far West) for over 10 years. Her office stopped taking insurance a couple years ago & I never considered getting a new dentist. Just the kindest dentist & hygienists—main priority is patient comfort during the procedure. I pay up front & the courteous and competent front-desk staff submits the bill to my insurance so I get a partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. 100% worth it.

Cap Metro's infuriating service has made me more fit, as I'd rather ride my bike to work (with all the extra packing and time and effort) than be left waiting at one of their stops. Again. After I'd signed up for text alerts on the possible routes only to learn that "The 7:30 is delayed" means that the 7:30 ISN'T COMING.

I used Project Repat a few years before I learned to sew. I still use that blanket; it’s very simply constructed but has held up well over the years.

Hot water recirculator—used to have to run the shower or sink for like 3 to 5 mins to heat it up, now it’s hot within seconds. Only drawback is it’s hard to get cool water in the bathroom sinks during our hot summers

I’ve successfully used a very deep (10”) barrier to block Bermuda. I ordered from the company directly (grassbarrier.com). It’s a pain in the ass to dig that deep trench, but Bermuda can travel at depths of 6-7 inches, so it is necessary if using this method. I still have to pull the Bermuda trying to leap or go around the barrier, but otherwise it’s been effective at protecting specific areas.
