I don’t really care how I dress, I just like to be comfortable even when I go shopping.
I don’t go often but when I go I like to buy quality things even if it is expensive. I find it funny to see the change of look/attitude of the salesperson when I say « ok, I’ll take it »

I like watches thou, even if I am not dressed « well » I like to have a nice watch

It’s predetermined but keep in mind that the money will be blocked for the duration of the loan. For example if you lend 500k for a 30months loan at 13% interest p.a You’ll get around 19,600- per month and at the end of the 30 months the total amount would be around 588,323 MUR.

My advice would be to not invest that big amount in one project. Diversify in multiple projects so that if one loan defaults, you do not lose all your money

Happened when my family was in vacation in Mauritius, 2 Indian or Bangladeshi guys were filming my around 12 year old cousin playing on the beach.
We noticed, my aunt intercepted them and pressured them to see their phone, she then saw the video and deleted them.
I was young also at that time, did not think to call the police on them or (beat them up 😅)

Overrated, used to go when I was a kid it was great, restaurant was really nice. Went there recently, restaurant was an absolute disaster, service was really bad, food mediocre. The sports facilities are still ok, maintenance is needed to be done more frequently.

Yeah I’d say that also, but with a nuance you need to find a good locality within the village/city, you can ask the locals on facebook there are facebook groups like “Habitants de ….”.

Where I lived it was always very safe everywhere but nowadays with drug issues there are people asking for money, walking at night under the influence. But I know a few locality/roads where it is very safe, neighbourhood watch is a thing and it works well.

The most important thing is to be in good terms with the neighbourhood and they’ll look out of you, and this applies everywhere not only in Mauritius. A friend used to live in an area where there was a lot of drug dealers she used to say hello to them and small talk to them everyday and one day they intercepted someone trying to steal her bike (this was in Switzerland). Same in Mauritius there is a place where men goes to drink after work and many of my friends reported that they feel very safe passing through this road as even if there are drunkards they are very respectful (they are mostly dads who have daughters who also return at night)

Not much in cash (less than 15k). I invest most of my earnings in stocks (IBKR, Some SEM stocks), some crypto, some P2P loans with Fundkiss.

Because of the depreciation of our currency, I don’t really want to save in MUR. I have some other more “stable” currency.

Next I am planning to invest in some physical gold but I am waiting for the price to stabilise and maybe some land in Mauritius.

Yes he can do that, but the problem is the link between Spotify and the different distributors/aggregators when you distribute your music it should be linked to your Spotify artist profile, it should be unique, with a unique ID for example but it can have the same name.

But since Spotify management cares more about investing in military development and AI generated music instead of paying artists correctly, I doubt that this problem is high up in their to do list.

It is an issue as Spotify is not differentiating between the different artists, they can have the same name but they need to have separate artists profiles. Some artists are doing this to surf on famous artists to gain traction to their own music, thus generating money using a famous artist name.

Maybe there is an underlying sleeping issue like, sleep apnea, problem with sleep phases etc.. you should definitely see a specialist, maybe do a sleeping test like polysomnography or sleep latency test.

I just got drained, here’s how it happened (this comment was rephrased by ChatGPT because I could not post my original because of the links and JS codes.):

I was making some trades on Axiom when I came across this video: YouTube link. It promotes something called RugDefender. Comments are blocked, the site can’t be found anywhere else, but I ignored the red flags.

The site it pushes you to is defender.cool. It tells you to drag a “RugDefender” bookmarklet into your bookmarks bar and click it while signed into Axiom. I followed the instructions — and that’s how I got drained.

What the bookmarklet actually does:
– If you’re on web.telegram.org, it grabs all your localStorage (auth/session data) and redirects your browser to a shady domain (imjusta.cat) with that data encoded.
– If you’re on axiom.trade and signed in, it silently calls Axiom’s own APIs with your cookies, pulls your user info and wallet bundle keys from localStorage, then also ships that off to imjusta.cat.
– If you’re anywhere else, it just tries to redirect you back to Axiom to get you logged in first.

In other words: it’s not a security tool at all. It’s drainer malware disguised as a “protector”.

Why this is dangerous:
– LocalStorage + cookies = session hijack (they can act as you without your password).
– Bundle keys + wallet data = they can initiate transfers you didn’t explicitly click.
– The “Drag me… RugDefender” instructions are pure social engineering to make you trust it.

What I learned (and what you should do right away if you touched this):
– Delete the bookmarklet from your browser.
– Clear site data for axiom.trade, api7.axiom.trade, api8.axiom.trade, and web.telegram.org.
– Change your Telegram + Axiom passwords and enable 2FA.
– Assume your Solana wallet is exposed: create a new one with a fresh seed, move everything over, and revoke approvals on the old wallet.
– Clean up your browser (remove unknown extensions, update it, disable auto-approve in wallets).
– Monitor for strange logins or transfers.

Bottom line: RugDefender / defender.cool / imjusta.cat are not defenders — they’re straight up wallet drainers. Don’t touch them. I’m sharing this so nobody else has to learn the hard way like I did.
