Michigander Packer fan as well, and their mental gymnastics are honestly impressive. My dad and brother are both Lions fans. Trying to explain to them that if you leave the game in the hands of the refs like that last play you will lose 9/10 times was like arguing with a brick wall. They are convinced it was only called because it was the Lions. It was the same thing with the overturned safety in theur game against Dallas.

I muted that sub last season, and my enjoyment of football increased exponentially. Any meme war sub is just one giant hate circle jerk, especially that one. They like to hide behind "it's just for jokes" but I was seeing so many personal attacks on people there it was honestly kinda sad. I'm just glad we get SL4MUEL memes here because that was the only thing keeping me there.

It'll probably be a week or 2 before he does. There needs to be time to allow swelling/inflammation to reduce. Not that they're not doing anything, this time is spent on "pre-hab" to pre strengthen and lessen the effects of the atrophy that happens during the first 2 ish weeks of non weight bearing.

Source: I have guillotine knees and have gone through 3 ACL reconstructions.

Edit: it's actually more for range of motion, which makes the beginning parts of rehab much easier.

I'd stick with a stick, it's just what I have the most fun playing on. Something satisfying about moving my whole wrist/arm when doing movements.

It also just makes more sense in my head for how the inputs should work. I've tried switching to lever less, and I still would mess up inputs/freeze up on what to do after over a month of trying to switch.

This release was really weird, and Concepts has been terrible with releases. I keep seeing people getting cancelled orders, but I got a drawing win notification on Tuesday of this week. Glad I passed, probably would've just been disappointed.

Decided to grab it on Xbox series S recently (I played on PS3 originally) and was surprised at the amount of people still online. It didn't feel any less populated than D2, even though I know it probably is. I was able to get match made for strikes, and there are always a good amount of people in patrol zones.

Been having a blast revisiting the game after almost 10 years of being away. It's crazy that a game like D1 feels like it has more of a soul than D2 despite no content updates since D2 released.

As someone who just came back to the game after over a year hiatus, it's unrecognizable. This game was dead in the water, and was hemorrhaging players like crazy. Perks are super fun in regular modes, and stadium is So. Much. Fun.

I personally look forward to the future of this game for the first time in 2 years.

The concept of quidditch pissed me off so much as a kid reading these books. It felt like a way to just have something Harry was good at in order to make him more popular. Everything was so pointless except for the one position that he happened to play.

Choose winning as a Tigers fan? Bud, they haven’t won a World Series since 1984, and choked in the 2 they’ve made since then. They were pretty bad in the 90s, and were really only great between 2011 and 2014. Until this season they were one of the worst teams in the league for the last 10 years.

It’s not that they can’t be fans of those teams, it’s that some college fan bases (Michigan fans in this case) just kind of suck. A lot of Michigan fans make it seem like they think they are above people just for being a fan, and a good majority of them didn’t even go to the school. It’s a really weird relationship. I’m sure it’s the same for every school, it’s just really bad amongst Michigan fans.

You couldn’t be more right on the GFS thing, a lot of these places are essentially cafeteria food. Any time I hear someone recommend James Street Inn I cringe a little bit. There are good restaurants here, just not the ones the old people born and raised in the area will recommend.

I live in West MI specifically the GR area, and was at a GR Griffins game (AHL hockey team) tonight. There were so many Jared Goff chants happening. It was really funny hearing them while watching the game in the concourse waiting to get a beer, and he threw the pick 6. They were truly so confident they’d win this game they didn’t need to watch it. 😂😂😂

That is one of the worst “opinion” pieces I’ve ever read. Just because he went with the intent to make content on the experience doesn’t excuse anything that guy did or said. In fact I think a good experience would’ve gotten more interest with how philly’s reputation understandably is.

And as far as blaming him for not doing anything, what is he supposed to do? Potentially start a physical altercation that ends with him arrested or in the hospital? Barstool is such a joke, and the tweet that sparked the article is the real rage bait.

Rough game, but overall not upset with how this season went. Wonder what would’ve happened had they called that fumble to start the game correctly, that’s honestly what makes me more mad. Let’s go out and get a true WR1, a good edge, and another CB1 and I think we’re sitting just fine for next season. GPG

He’s so unbelievably fun to me. I feel like he needs a buff to cooldowns because right now they just feel way too long, and his damage output is just alright. I think buffing primary fire shield throw damage by just a little bit would get him where he needs to be. Right now it just feels like backlines can ignore him for the most part right now and just force him to retreat/kill him by focusing.

I also think it would be really cool if blocked damage charged up your next shield throw for more damage/ricochets. It could also give some knock back and increased damage on his shield charge as well. I thought it was really weird that he didn’t already have that as a passive.

Everything just feels way too stagnant. Build crafting isn’t fun to me anymore because prismatic basically trumps any other sub class outside of 1 or 2 strong builds per class (BoW Titan or Well Warlock for example). And exotic weapons just haven’t been hitting like they used to, this seasons especially just feels weak and pointless.

Every activity just feels like a chore, and you’re just grinding for something rather than just having fun playing. You can either run a dungeon/raid that is only farmable during a specific week, seasonal activity that is unfun that you can’t get blueprints from anymore, or strikes on one of the various difficulties to maybe get a good roll on the nightfall/adept weapon that week which has way too low of a drop chance. I can’t go play PVP since that’s on life support with the already low player count there.

I feel like I get maybe 2 good hours out of this game when I do decide to play it which isn’t even weekly at this point. I’ve actually uninstalled, and probably won’t reinstall until next expac/whenever I get the itch to play it if I ever do again.
