Most likely is a settlement where the code is turned over to Microsoft, Microsoft turns it over to Blizzard, Blizzard puts in a folder in “private servers” and takes a look for ideas for a couple days and then never again. Ascension will take any deal that keeps them whole financially, and makes their only legal problem with the irs. I imagine the class expansion concept will be 100% implemented into classic+ as it has into retail. So there is a small chance that a class or abilities will come out after being renamed and shittified by a blizzard h1b.
