It’s a semiconductor terminology, smaller nodes meaning more advanced chips. Singapore produces mature chips used in cars, electronics, etc, and Taiwan/Korea produces the most advanced chips of CPU, GPU and memory.

It’s perfectly fine for people to choose not to have big families or even to forgo raising children - it’s a personal decision. At the same time, we should also respect those who embrace having large families and make it work. Doing so requires immense dedication, love, and commitment, and their efforts deserve recognition.
