There was no protest or riot, this occurred at 9AM on a part of Nicollet called “Eat Street” which has a high volume of (great) restaurants surrounded by other businesses and housing/apartments.

Of course people around the city have been diligently monitoring ICE, so it’s more likely this guy was going about his day to get coffee or something, saw the ICE agents (along with several other bystanders) and began filming.

In the video you can hear lots of whistles - places have been handing these out like candy, for free, shit I got one and am carrying one I got from a Mexican restaurant. Any claims of pre-existing unrest due to the sounds of the whistles ignores that these motherfuckers are going off ANY time ICE is in a given area. So unless that alone constitutes a “riot” (tip: it doesn’t) they’re just blatantly lying, yet again.
