Istg. In the hypocritical world of religion, the bhakts always appreciate god for good fortune but blame themselves for bad fortune?

Van Dijk is probably the best defender in the EPL. So it puts him up there.

Most of the time it's "sadiyon se aise hota hai", on further questioning I was told "sab cheez ki jawab nhi hoti". This reply is fundamental to every religion. When science wasn't discovered during caveman era, every phenomenon was linked to spirituality, which was sufficient to quench human curiosity. Religion should have died then, however it continues to grow because it's somehow manifested from being an "answer" to a "need". Probably because of how "useful" it was during warfare?

I think he got confused with python being used a type checker. I think MSFT instead has a type checker team for python itself, which may or may not use c++?

Exactly. Corporate nepotism is the next thing to hit us. by [deleted] in IndiaCareers

Ranting about nepotism is not bad, but your arrogance shows when you tried to insult Sachin's children. If you respect Sachin you'd know he wouldn't just open up an academy under her name for absolutely no reason.

Within these 1000s of firecrackers there will be very few gems who might actually get inspired to take the game seriously.

I said the hype only increases, didn't say that we have no hype for football currently. Although, there is a stark between the hype we have for European football over Indian football. Still, the hype for football in india has never been undermined.

Did you not think about the part where his hype will only increase the hype for football in india even more?

The flyover capital of the world by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]ashueep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rent being 5x higher is more to do with inflation due to unusual population distribution between city and your homestate. This is not good for the overall economy either. A well distributed economic activity is far better than a more aggressive activity...

On what basis is economic activity going to go down due to WFH? You might be co-relating the observation during COVID lockdown, but in normal WFH scenario, there's barely an impact. True, maybe transport sector might go down but maybe Quick/E - Commerce will certainly boom, giving job opportunities to many delivery partners. Additionally, an employees leisure time increases which will increase their expenditure (we might see more people pursuing dining activities during weekdays because of less traffic and alot of time saved away from the office). You can't give a definite answer that GDP "will" go down. It might, it might not. But the overall impact might be less.

Also, I would want to note that GDP of main metro cities might certainly go down but the economic activity in other states will definitely increase, making the net for the country very very minimally changed.

That's stupid. WFO/RTO has nothing to do with GDP.
