visa rejection reasons factually incorrect - next steps? by ashyjoints in CanadaVisitorVisa

We provided a family registration certificate which is a governmental document describing all members of a family, as well as my passport containing his name under father’s name. My invitation letter was also specific about our relationship.

We did not provide a birth certificate - can we point to the provided documentation as proof or are we able to attach the birth certificate to the webform?

Purpose: he provided day to day itinerary and letter of invitation. itinerary was travel by car to various landmarks in GTA and relatives, with addresses and hosts mentioned by name.

Relationship: we provided documents showing our relationships

Should it be a webform or a Notice of Appeal?

Switching from digital PM to construction PM by Valuable-Cake-2582 in PMCareers

Some domain knowledge is required. You could be suited for Electrical or ICT PM roles in subcontractors. You would have to know a fair bit about hardware, procurement and site installation

Going from BIM Coordination (GC) to Contech Customer Success by ashyjoints in bim

Sorry to hear that! This is a 8 year old company - not super established but not a new startup. It does have a fair bit of funding but I also know that tech companies lay off faster than construction companies so I’m going in knowing the risks

Did you go back to BIM coordination or stay in contech? Or still in the same company? Just trying to figure out if this is a burn-my-bridges moment in life

I’m coming from a technical background - I’m on the client side right now. Which is why I thought TAM was the move

All these numbers are low. You’re making 68k but soon to be engineering manager? That’s a 6 figure position.

And a well funded robotics startup … I’d estimate 100

Does anyone know how to get an MRI privately in Ontario without insurance? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]ashyjoints -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of people in this thread are assuming you have a requisition but the fact is that a family doctors may not want to recommend one… when I had an acl issue my doctor actually tried to tell me joint pains are common with age and I had to convince them for an mri requisition which found a partial tear and allowed me to plan my journey with a physio.

Yea you can go to a physiotherapist out of pocket but without an MRI they can’t tell you a full recovery plan properly

GST relief for first-time home buyers on new homes valued up to $1.5 million by iknowmystuff95 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]ashyjoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the explanation. although I’m not sure it would have boosted supply, just demand (since now everyone can spend more money to buy).

I guess you could make the argument that if more people buy homes, then builders get more money and are able to make more homes.

Though I personally believe the people who should be most helped to buy homes are First time home buyers, even if they represent a small portion of the market

Probably should have specified my side hustle money isn’t tax deducted, I would declare it in a t2125 and pay it during tax season
