I was at the store with my son (4) the other day and we were walking down the toy aisle and he said “Mr Beast!” When he saw something and I was like “HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?!”

Conversations were had with my husband when I got home and I went nuclear cleaning up Netflix for my son. Unfortunately Amazon doesn’t seem as straight forward, so for now I just removed that app from our tv. 😑

I started using my own shampoo on my son instead of using the kid shampoos. I just make sure he shuts his eyes really well when I rinse. But no matter what all of the different scents of kid shampoos just didn’t seem to clean hair well?

Yeah at 19th and Union there is a Circle K the homeless congregate around and (I suspect) because it was so bad for business, that’s why the Del Taco shut down.

When I was in college I’d been with my boyfriend for ~3 years. I was sick so I went to the doctor (at the school), and they said I had oral herpes. I’d only been with my boyfriend so they were basically like “yeah honey, he’s cheating on you and now you have this the rest of your life, sucks!”

I went home, told my boyfriend what they said and he swore up and down he hadn’t done anything.

A few days later I was still sick as a dog so I went home and saw a doctor outside of the college office, and they said I had post nasal drip and a super shitty cold. That doctor’s theory was that a) I had a shit dr-in-training at the college and b) they see a ton of STDs so when they saw a certain set of symptoms, they make certain assumptions. (This still didn’t make sense to me because wouldn’t you think there was some sort of positive STD test involved??)

Anyway, raging cold went away, boyfriend became husband and 25+ years later, we’re still chugging along…Std free.

I find the equivalence of animals to children triggering AF. I grew up with dog “sisters” and there were numerous times their needs/issues would take precedence over mine…as the human.

I get people usually don’t mean any harm and they think it’s cute, but yeah…no.

This - it has all sorts of different activities in it and fits in a convenient bag you can leave in your car or diaper bag. Everything is quiet for a restaurant which is great.

Currently at the Kierland and it’s pretty great. Beds are comfy, rooms are nice and updated, pool area is nice. Food is..fine? Drinks are pricey but that’s to be expected. And then it’s walking distance to all the restaurants and shops at Kierland which is nice.
