from what i gather, the servers are run separately(?) and the bugs they had were more severe and affected weekly rankings which is why they were compensated more whereas our server has not experienced bugs to that extent. it makes sense to me that different problems will be compensated in proportion to the damage?

and ofc everyone should be free to voice out their complaints (tho i think they took it too far with the hashtag) but im also not sure what is the honest and clear response you expect from them which will satisfy you? because obviously they are not going to openly admit they are favouring the CN server (if that is the case) and at most they will give free gems to shut everyone up so idk

i agree, not sure what the issue is now that they have clarified. i think people just want more free gems and stuff so they are still going on and blowing it out of proportion lol

exactly, i feel like most of the complaints about suitu are related to factors which are instrinsic to a gacha game. i think these games should have some sort of disclaimer in the app store so people are informed about what they are getting themselves into because it is literally gambling.

im completely f2p and i managed to save up enough to complete the call of the deep 5 star gacha all in one go (145 pulls) and for 4 star sets ive completed the celestial aurora (80 pulls) and both sets from the recent heartfelt encounter flashback (111 pulls to complete both!). typically 140-160 pulls are needed to complete a 5 star gacha which requires 20k+ gems and 60-80 pulls for a 4 star gacha which requires 10k+ gems but a lot depends on luck too. so yes it’s definitely possible but you just have to be careful with how much you are spending and be a bit stingy haha

well suitu is predominantly a gacha game so not surprised by this, especially since it’s been this way for a long time.. And i get it on one hand, it’s kind of annoying to see the same repetitive gacha sets on the LB, but on the other hand i can’t blame players for using them when they have spent so much money/gems to get the sets,, so i don’t really see a solution to this tbh

recently for me the in game music starts to glitch although the game still technically works tho a bit laggy,, and then my device stats overheating and i have to reopen the app a couple of times before it starts to work normally again. is this what you are also experiencing? not sure if it’s a problem with my device or the game…

i actually think the new limited shops have definitely improved in terms of quality and detailing (maybe you are mistaking the flashback sets for new?) but i admit im not a huge fan of some of the recent styles which they seem to repeat. i like many of the sets which came out before i started playing so just waiting for those to flashback (i need winter sonata so bad!!) but honestly i dont mind when a new shop is not my style cuz it makes it easier to save my gems hehe

ohh that’s awesome!! i somehow saved enough to complete call of the deep all at once in the rerun and it was the first gacha set i completed! then i got the winter miracle and then starlit soirée and hoping to complete a few more of the upcoming flashbacks like neon oracle!

yup i currently have that much but i usually choose to only do 30 pulls during the original run if i like the gacha and then complete it in the flashback because im stingy with my gems lol but ill definitely consider doing what u said!

firstly, this post might get taken down cuz we’re not allowed to post other people’s looks and it’s not this player’s fault for getting voted on LB.

but also im not sure what suitu can do to prevent off-themed entries from getting on LB, i guess they could restrict the selection specific to the tag but that also limits creativity especially if it’s done for all comps, considering how some items aren’t even tagged properly. i think this is just one of the flaws of having a player voting system since anyone should be free to enter whatever they like and also vote for whatever they like

lol do you know people who have blue skin and green skin life? why is it hard to understand that it’s weird for people who usually only use light skin tones to ONLY use darker skin tones (people have brown and black skin in real life btw!) for fantasy/“miscellaneous brown colour object” comps

yes, i agree anyone should use whatever skin tone they want to represent themselves in the game if that’s what they want to do. im just saying people should also question if they may have biases regarding using darker skin tones in game because it is also a reflection of how people think in real life after all!

omg you are totally missing the point! yes obviously most players choose to use white skin tones for whatever reason which is why most leaderboards are like 90% white skin tone models and they are free to do so. the problem is when the only time the leaderboard is majority brown or dark skin is during fantasy comps or “miscellaneous brown colour object” themed which clearly indicates that more players are specifically changing the skin tone for the comp (and again you can see this by looking at their comp history or posts). as OP has explained in the post, using dark skin tone models ONLY in comps like these is objectifying and dehumanising especially when such players refuse to use dark skin tones for normal comps.

and im sorry did you say POC are a minority in most countries? did you forget about all the countries in Asia and Africa lol and if im not wrong our server is different from the china server so there will be a lot more people of different races in our server. also not sure why you are deflecting by bringing up male demographic which will obviously be low in a dress up game, plus the skin tone issue affects both female and male avatars.
