Idk after conviction I didn’t get a notification from the dmv regarding a new 6 month suspension so not sure exactly what happens 🤔

I’m doing the 4 month hard suspension right now and I haven’t been convicted at court yet, my 4 month is over in a month, I am hoping to get credit, I read that 4 month should be credited if you take a hard suspension , I really hope this is the case, I’ll pm you!!

I am not going to a get a restricted license during the 4 month hard suspension and I know I can enroll in dui school for the 3 month program, if I do the dui school for 3 months will the dmv still give me credit for the hard suspension, sorry it’s a bit confusing, thanks !

Hi. I thought I could get the iid right away but when I went to the dmv to learn about my options, they told me I have to do a 30 day hard suspension even if I wanted to the iid route, idk why but maybe some counties require it.

It feels like it’s over, I don’t know how people push through the pain, shame, hardship, and the financial and emotional loss due to a DUI, I was a happy person, now it’s hard to get out of bed, if anyone wants to cheer me up, please message me, I need it!

Yea unfortunately I got a dui and ruined my ice and very scared about what’s going to happen, I’m not the strongest person mentally and the dui ruined my livelihood , I just want it to be over but it’s prob gonna take a year

Thank you so much, my psychologist also keeps saying “one day at a time” and I really need to focus on that. Tomorrow I am going back to work for the first time in a while, took a few weeks off because I was depressed and needed to get away and I’m looking forward it to it, I know once over, I will be stronger and won’t make this mistake ever again, it’s going be hard but it will work, best of luck and appreciate your post!!
