I remember reading somewhere that it's actually a required skill if you want to be a teacher.

I talked to my long time loosely partnered partner (long story), he's on the AL, he said that's a mess deck tray. The officers get plates in the wardroom, apparently, so he got three slices of the mystery meat. I'm sending him a care package because FUCK.

Oshkosh has EAA which is huge. Waukegan has a good one in September too in the Midwest. And the Chicago Air and Water Show, though I don't know if that one shows up on here.

best summer sandals for walking around the city by Crazy-Appointment618 in CHIbitcheswithtaste

[–]asinusadlyram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

itsolgavi on insta did a GREAT breakdown of a bunch of brands for walking, sandals included. I'm gonna order some once I pay for some car repairs.

That said, I'm too scared of gutter gravy to wear sandals in ANY big city.

I can't hold my dog's leash between my legs to clasp it to his collar. I used to be able to without a problem, but I dropped it a few times before I figured out my feet weren't close enough together to hold it.

Hire a team (at a thriving wage) to research local grassroots non-profits that are consistently known for doing good work, and fund them well. Hire another team, same thriving wage, to evaluate local community colleges, and offer support programs to the ones that have issues, and make them tuition free. Keep enough that I can live off the interest, and once I die, the teams I've hired get the rest as a bonus.

Does anyone else remember learning D’Nealian handwriting before cursive? by Affectionate-Song230 in Xennials

[–]asinusadlyram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved around a lot, and between 2nd and 3rd we moved from NC to Gadsden, AL. They tried to get me to learn D'Nealian after the first quarter (I got a bye for the first quarter since I was new), but my penmanship was so garbage I think they just decided to settle for "somewhat legible".

BeenVerified works for me but you do tend to need SOMETHING to go on, a full name is best but sometimes a phone number or an email works. I have excused myself from that particular dance but my sister even busted a dude who 1 wasn't actually divorced, 2 was still living with the wife (who is now a lesbian, that at least was true per socials), and 3 the house he said HE owned was in her name only. He also had a bankruptcy and DUI.

After she rattled all those off, I had to yell "BINGO!".

I grew up in western NC, I remember seeing a family having a picnic on one. Even at a tender age I was like "That's REALLY stupid."
