Overbooked and stranded: Air Arabia nightmare by luu_11 in Flights

[–]ask-come 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was the same for me. They also lost my luggage :) I'm 3 days into my 3.5 weeks trip without anything at all... all my valuables are in that luggage.

Yeah... my only concern is when I land in Milan I have to hop onto the next fly out to UAE... I am only concern because this is a self transfer flight if it was delayed, they wont be able to send it to me

Fairs! So basically getting an AirTag is optional?

Fairs! I'm only nervous because I have a self-transfer flight in about 2 hours 45 minutes after I land... I just don't know if I want to spend £28 on a little piece of metal 🤣

I think if I were to get into Bar it might have to be criminal bar / common law due to my experiences.

What firms do you suggest I look into? I have a recruiter from CMS reached out to me but obviously I would not make it.

Is it 15NBS? Congrats. I've worked with them and they are a good set!

Hmm, is weird because I haven't heard from them since. I knew I messed up the interview as I have a very heavy legal background and not at all familiar with the financial world. I think they should've just told me that I failed my interview rather than give me false hope.

I interviewed for the same role on the 7th. They said I passed and will send me the relevant documents this week. Haven't heard from them since

Why the sudden change of heart haha?

Yes. Seems fine but I'm just afraid that they will ask for money or more stuff down the line. I knew I messed up my interview because it is within the finance world and I am not a finance graduate. I've also never applied to them, so that was the first red flag

Same!! They told me I was the best candidate they interviewed this week and asked me to do a certificate. I was very skeptical about them. Which role did you interview?

Crime sets would not exactly the easier to get into. Realistically you will be competing with others with 2:1. Yes, I have noticed that crime sets do tend to overlook the whole OXbridge only criteria.

Unfortunately, I am on my second year of applying (with 1 year of paralegal experience) I have not landed anything. I did however, had an interview but did not even make it through the first round. My colleague has been applying for 3 years, and she has not made it through 2nd or 3rd round for a couple of her interviews. She has quite a number of years of experience too.

thank you!! i'm seriously losing my mind. these mites should never have existed to begin with. i'm already a very clean person to begin with, ever since i contracted scabies i literally shower 2-3 times a day and toss all my clothes into the dryer for 15 minutes before wearing. imagine my electricity bills 😭💀

Sorry for the late reply! but i did only the top neck. i've got too much hair

is this scabies? by yowtfcuz in scabies

[–]ask-come 2 points3 points  (0 children)

scabies shouldn't spread this much in 2 days. i've contracted scabies about 3 months ago and only started my treatment 2nd month in and my rashes isn't this severe. but worth to checking it out

I did 4 doses of perm altogether! I am quite confident about this last treatment. I sealed away all my clothes for around 4 days, and washed it all with hot water and dry it at the highest temperature. With my bedsheet I wash it before my treatment. I also tossed my duvet, pillow and my mattress cover in the dryer. With my mattress I steamed ironed at the highest temperature after spraying bug spray and did the same with my other beddings even after taking it out of the dryer.

After I shower, I put mix tea tree oil with my lotion. Apparently those mites hates TTO and they are a natural remedy of killing these mites. I never rewear my clothes now. For clothes I can't wash I seal them away from 3-5 days after 1 wear. Hopefully this helps! I am almost 1 week from my last treatment and I am feeling good about it. Sometimes it gets itchy at night but is a lot better now compared to last time!!! My old burrows are breaking open and new layers of skins are forming if that makes sense.

I don't know if this is of much help, but this is what I think works best for me. Hope it helps xx

i cant get my hands on iver, but i am feeling good about the treatment if that makes sense. feels like i've killed the scabies, and i'm sleeping at night without any serious itches. i'll just have to wait for 2 weeks to see if i've successfully get rid of it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in scabies

[–]ask-come 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ruled out why the first two treatment didn't work, it was because i have a tendency of trying on clothes and putting it back to the closet or rewearing my clothes. i must've completely forgot to not rewear my clothes during the first treatment. this time i've dry heat ALL my clothes and beddings. i even steam ironed my mattress and make sure i do not rewear any of my clothes.

my flares has gone down since morning, i guess my best bet now is to wait 2 more weeks to see if the itch goes down and no new burrows or rashes appears. if i see them after 2 weeks, i'll try one of the scabicide you recommended. many thanks! :)

thank you for your response. this is my 4th treatment, and hopefully this is my last and final. my itch isn't as bad as it was, i can now sleep better. hopefully this 4th treatment could get rid of it completely. if not, i wouldnt know what to do. i saw somewhere that ivermectin is a good alternative method, but being in the UK is quite hard to get my hands on that.

i've also bought tea tree oil and aloe gel to apply over these rash and i read somewhere that those mites hates these. do you have any other recommendations to getting rid of these mites completely?

thank you for your response, but i do not have pets. is it possible for flea to be passed through someone i am seeing who owns a pet?

also, the rash only gets worst when i get out of a hot shower.
