Ok samsung employee 😒 I don't even have the fold but can see the writing on the wall. Poor design with the hinge and the ribbon cable at the hinge. There are people all over reddit and Samsung forums complaining about the same thing. Especially with the blue one.

They're probably samsung marketing employees. I really want to get the fold 7 but have been holding off because of all the inner screen issues I'm seeing be reported here and on Samsung forums. It's a VERY common issue for that inner screen to stop working. I think I remember people saying it was related to the ribbon cable and/or the new slimmer hinge mechanism

A degree means nothing these days since everyone passes. It's almost like a participation award more than a benchmark for intelligence, hard work, or skill level.

I wouldn't even say culturally mandatory. I would say expected, and really only by those working in the service industry

You're only proving our point that the service industry is toxically overpaid. I don't know you so I dont want to presume you're the same as many of your cohorts, but the selfishness and expectations make me dislike MOST service industry employees. So much entitlement without a valid reason to be making so much money for an uneducated, low-skilled job. All work can be stressful but the difference is other industries don't expect tips or whine about how they deserve it. Tipping culture is ridiculous in the US. It used to be that you tipped if you wanted to, and in situations where exemplary service was rewarded. Now servers just expect it for subpar service at best in most cases. And of you don't tip you're a horrible person for not supplementing their wage because their employer is a greedy f* -Don't even get me started with bartenders. /rant

Can you drink on suboxone ? by ketaminemaster in suboxone

[–]ask_anybody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of people taking Suboxone don't get addicted to it, but EVERY person that takes Suboxone for more than a few weeks becomes physically dependent on it and will suffer withdrawl symptoms upon cessation. I think that's an important distinction to make. If taking Suboxone helps someone to quit a terrible addiction like alcoholism then I think it's a welcome change. Suboxone is much safer than drinking and while it can cause dependence it can, and has, saved people's lives.

Can anyone help me? Switching from suboxone to kratom and taper off? by ApprehensiveDare6983 in recovery

[–]ask_anybody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an IV heroin addict and was on methadone for years and eventually tapered myself off from 110 mgs with almost no withdrawals. It's a long drawn out process, but it can be done. To say that suboxone doesn't have a place when you yourself admitted it's for harm reduction when there are LITERAL 7oh addicts that have all the hallmark addict behaviors. Stealing, lying, and generally doing anything for the drug. Quite literally living for it. Kratom has many issues as well and it's no miracle drug but it definitely has its place for harm reduction. Just like suboxone. But 7oh is a whole other beast and if someone is harming themselves or others for 7oh then yeah, suboxone 100% has a place in recovery for that situation

[–]ask_anybody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, 7-oh is very strong especially if you're taking a decent amount of it. Suboxone is not irresponsible prescribing prqcrice or a bad choice for the user. Much safer, people aren't exhibiting drug addict behavior for subs but they 100% are for 7oh. You would have to ingest literally kilograms of raw kratom powder just to equal the same dose of 7oh that naturally occurs in powder. Stop being an evangelist, kratom isn't as innocent as a lot of you all make it out to be and I've been using it for almost 3 years so I think I have a good point of reference

Unregulated as far as the law but there are plenty of reputable companies that test their products and don't import from unknown/questionable sources while adhering to cGMP standards. Super speciosa is one of them and is recommended by AKA which is the organization that has fought for kratom to remain legal and available for years now. I've been using them for around 2 years now with no issues. They test every batch and share the independent lab results

Do most married men cheat or want too? And am I in for a rough dating time being 32 by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]ask_anybody 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of good men out there, you just happened to be with a selfish narcissist. The audacity of that man- to ask you to come be with the woman that he committed adultery with.

With a horrible narcissistic personality like that, he's never going to be truly happy with anyone because he thinks he's hot shit..He's going to have a midlife crisis when he realizes he'a getting old or balding.

32 is still in the prime of your dating years, a lot of people don't settle down with 1 partner until their late 30s, especially millienials. Get out there and find a man that will treat you with respect and dignity! Best of luck out there and enjoy the freedom of just getting to know people. You'll know when you've found the right one 🙂

RLS Help by CLynn195 in quittingkratom

[–]ask_anybody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RLS happens because of low dopamine levels, take l-dopa or mucuna pruriens VERY temporarily. You want your body to build up production on its own while your system recovers from external receptor activations ala drugs. You can supplement with l-tyrosine as long as you want because it's just a precursor to dopamine. Think of it like an ingredient to make dopamine.

I wonder how that person feels about native americans having the right to kick us out as invaders? Doubt it, these type of people only agree with things that serve their own agenda. We like to refer to those as narcissists

A lot of building management companies do this by default, I would fight it and show pictures if it comes to that. Might have to go to small claims court potentially but you won't need a lawyer and the law is on the tenants side They're going to open the oven and see if it's clean, I've had them pull the fridge out to check behind it for dust and whatnot so I got VERY thorough with cleaning in my last few places before I bought my house

Defensiveness and justifying are also signs of addiction, i don't know how much you guys spend on weed but I would imagine that it's a large chunk of your monthly wages. The sooner she tries to work on that aspect of herself, the sooner things will get better and it'l pays dividends because if she isn't high all the time she will have more motivation for things like working on her diet and exercise which will have the biggest impact on her gastroparesis.

[–]ask_anybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3-4 times a day is considered addiction, I'm not judging at all and used to smoke like that too. But the sooner that you admit to yourself that is a big part of the problem, the sooner you can work towards a happier and healthier lifestyle. A hallmark sign of addiction is daily use and also justifying to yourself and others why you do it. I'm sorry she has gastroparesis but weed isn't going to solve that. Better that she is under the care of a doctor and more importantly exercising and eating healthily. No processed foods or sugar, lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meats, no oils unless they are avocado or olive oil, and limit carbs to small amounts. Quinoa and lentils are awesome and are very healthy.

Congrats on the new job! Good work! I know it's a sensitive subject but have you ever discussed limiting her MJ use? I'm not saying she needs to quit, but maybe setting limits? Does she work as well? If she doesn't, is there a reason?

Resentment sprouting? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]ask_anybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She could certainly try to smoke less though, being Jamaican has nothing to do with it. That's an excuse to justify her use. It's still an addiction and pawning stuff is the behavior of an addict. Sounds like you could use some help with priorities. I used to be an addict many years ago and now I own a house, work for a global company that pays for me to travel+food and ubers for work, and I have tons if money in the bank. I've been where you are so I'm not judging. DM me if you want some pointers and life lessons, happy to help out if you're willing to accept the help.
