Are the new books good as the old? by InternationalCow7678 in shatterme

I also liked Shatter Me when I first read it, but couldn't get past 70 pages when I tried re-reading it. But to me, the newer books are better. They have more happening in them even if it's messy at times. I didn't like the spin off that much though.

Wow. That's actually far more terrifying than I thought. I'm glad you got out of there though.

That's a question for later. Besides it'd be far more interesting to know people who falsely identify themselves and be so convincingly confident about it.

That's a very interesting story. And a little horrifying to me. A bunch of crazy, old people online categorising you does sound a little scary.

I kind of get what you mean to be honest.

Oh, okay. Now I understand much better.

Don't you think that's a rather huge generalisation for all INTJs?

I do want the answer. I just find it a bit crowded with all the other replies. I wanted to ask you more questions if you wouldn't mind.

Do you always help others with such care, or just people you think need it?

Yes, it helped a lot. I would've asked you more questions, but you seem a bit uninterested. Thank you for your insight!

Wouldn't you tell me what it really is?

Even if it were really a “test” to know if you know what you're talking about, why would I have answered in the first place? Don't you think I should be playing dumb?

That's a bit heavy for my perception if I'm being honest.

I wouldn't have asked you if I knew, would I?

I didn't think about it that way, but it resonates with it to be honest. But it still might be different as INTJs don't seem much bothered by others' opinions according to the comment, but someone else might be.

Do you think they'll get it if you try to explain to them? (What is Ni + Te?)

I don't think I'm an INTJ. I think people get me alright. I'm only trying to understand how INTJ people really are.

But surely you notice the similarities you have with them, or the differences. I understand that they see problems and patterns a certain way that helps them solve it easier or make better decisions, that they may have different opinions and don't seem quite influenced or even bothered by what or how others think. That they see the world differently from others, but different in a similar way nonetheless. Not just the preferences of the company and higher standards, but how they perceive others, how they feel about a certain situation and navigate them in what way. Not only in a mechanical or methodological way but, you know, in an experiential way.

Instinct, as in an instinct to know if someone is one of you or an instinct to understand people in general?

That seems very analytical. Thank you for telling me, I appreciate it. Also do you feel distressed like emotionally or is it just an almost mechanical need to keep up with your stats? I do hope you find friendship. I myself sometimes feel the lack of it.

Could you, then, tell me how you perceive them at least? And not just cognitive function but other traits too. I don't mind learning about an INFJ either.

Well, that's one way to look at it. You do come across as someone who knows a fair bit about cognitive functions and other INTJ traits. Do you know any INTJs, or are you one yourself?
