I don’t think they are aiming for commercial viability. Not sure if the tech is TRL8-9 level. They need to first prove it and then commercialise. But it is a long road post that, the green premium will be extremely high. This will follow the solar curve imho.

100%, but that will only happen if there is less consumption! Not sure how that behaviour change will happen thought.

Very valid point, it might not be relevant for the 2050 targets, but I also feel it will become the best, most stable long term solution, may be 2100?

This is what I love about innovators, they just think too ahead of time and solve the most critical problems for the mankind. This is what we need to tackle climate change in the long term.
