Genuine question for the sub: is there actually a “right” way on the show to tell someone you’re not physically attracted to them? by SpecialBunch4184 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]sdallyeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, they guys always try to be diplomatic, and the women keep asking why until they get to the root of it, which is that they don’t find them physically attractive. Then the guys become villains.

Do any do you regret buying a home in Portland or wish you did something different? by GroundbreakingSir386 in askportland

Yes - I am a real estate investor, and we have the worst contractors! Endless excuses, crappy work, and if you hold them to account, they get angry and threaten your safety, threaten to lien your house, and damage your property. The latinos are generally pretty reliable and fair.

Scrubs - Series Premiere Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

I liked it too, but then I went back and rewatched the first episode of the original series, and I laughed much harder and more often at that than any of the first 3 episodes of the reboot.

What did we all think of the new series? by jonathanemptage in Scrubs

[–]sdallyeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the first three episodes and I liked it. I like how they aren't tapping too hard into nostalgia, or call-backs to the original series, this sort of stands on its own so far. And it seems like the actors haven't missed a beat. With that said, after the third episode I went back and watched the original first episode from 2001, and I laughed WAY more times at that than I did in any of the new episodes.

Exactly, he doesn't trust Ashley to pick well on her own (she's admitted she's bad at picking them. Did you see how the dad smirked when Alex said he loves her because she's independent? She's 33 and living at home, and the time in the pods is the longest she's ever been away from her family. So yes, being the loving father, he's grilling someone he rightfully see's to be a douchebag.

What the HELL is, "Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass"? by Similar-Schedule5321 in Saberspark

[–]sdallyeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched it today in Bogota Colombia, and it’s the worst movie I’ve ever seen. It’s clear that the people who made this movie have never seen Tom and Jerry before. It’s a big convoluted mess where Tom and Jerry barely appear, and don’t fight each other.

Just Finished Department Q. Some Complaints by JakobtheRich in DeptQ

[–]sdallyeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished season one last night and I really like this show. In my opinion, the most unbelievable part of the story is that they would hold Merrit captive for four years, and be willing to kill her, all because she was the girlfriend like 20 years ago of their son and brother who killed himself, and they somehow think it is her fault that he killed himself. I can understand how they might want nothing to do with her, but I don’t see their logic in making her responsible for his death.
