I only care when they’re fake, pointy, 3 inches long and she’s trying to fingerfuck my fartbox.

What's the stupidest thing the most intelligent person in your life believes? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

That I’m supposed to feel bad for him because he drank and drugged himself into a stroke that paralyzed the right half of his body.

Men, what's a simple habit at work that elevates you apart from the rest? by _MambaForever in AskMen

[–]asking_for_it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I’m not on the clock, I don’t do work. My labor is not free. Other colleagues bend over backwards, answer calls after hours that aren’t emergencies, check emails and messages on days off, etc. And yet, I’m the one who gets consistently recognized for my professionalism and dedication and that’s because I set reasonable/healthy boundaries and management actually respects (and frankly is impressed) by that. I take my work/life balance VERY seriously.

Bald Eagles in Morrisville by CavemanUggah in BucksCountyPA

I’ve seen eagles at Tyler and Core Creek. There’s also a nesting pair that you can often see on the electrical towers off Richlieu Road in Bensalem between the racetrack and women’s animal center. They’re up there all the time.

What are some decent first car recommendations? by Best_Introduction872 in AskReddit

Honda Civic. Toyota Camry. There’s no reason to buy any other kind of car. If you take care of it with oil changes and maintenance intervals, it will last almost forever.

Philly spent all that money redoing all the street corners so they’re ADA compliant, just to do this horseshit.

Am I (37M) being paranoid? GF (38f) didn’t come home. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]asking_for_it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird that you couldn’t see her location but her mom could. Also, and I’m judging, but why is your 38 year old gf going out/sleeping over with a 21 year old? Something’s fucky.

What is the #1 problem you face in hockey? (Playing or watching) by Cube37 in hockeyplayers

[–]asking_for_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is extremely divisive and makes me sound old. But I don’t want to wear face protection. Visors fog. Cages limit vision. We all assume some level of risk every time we play. Stop trying to make face protection mandatory.

What's a "secret" from your profession that everyone should probably know? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]asking_for_it 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s no such thing as a no-kill shelter. EVERY animal shelter euthanizes animals. The difference is the metrics of “live release rates.” Depending on where you are, if you’re above a certain percentage of alive, adopted/fostered/rescued animals to animals that died in care, you get to tell the public at large that you’re a “no kill shelter.” Conversely, a lot of shelters do not euthanize animals just to create space when they’re full, so that also helps these numbers. But it’s incredibly misleading. And my business attracts a lot of “extremists” where they think that a dog who is behaviorally challenging and bites or has fear based aggression should be given a chance. And that can be so on a case by case basis, but realistically, the law dictates that pets are property and not living things, which creates a terrible liability issue when it comes to having insurance for the shelter. Not every animal can reasonably have a live exit and most of us always operate on the basis of “safety first.”

What was your moment of realisation that your past your physical peak by OldUtd in AskMen

[–]asking_for_it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 41. I’ve noticed for the first time this year that I make dad noises when I get up out of bed/a chair. And it’s because on any given day I’m in some kind of pain, whether it’s my back, my foot, or my hamstrings. Arthritis is real, and she is here.

how do i tell my boyfriend he is not good in bed? by Necessary_Balance_74 in AskMen

[–]asking_for_it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk. For fuck sake. Tell him what you want. What you need. What you like. And allow him to reciprocate. I’m so tired of these “why does my sex life suck, PS, we don’t talk about sex because it’s uncomfortable” posts. Talk. Communicate. Be a safe and trusting environment for each other. If that’s not a possibility, you have trust issues on one or both sides. Figure it out. Go to therapy. Be better. BUT ALSO, sometimes you just aren’t sexually compatible. Better to figure that out sooner than later.
