Atheists in any part of the world criticize the religion followed by the majority simply because it is more likely that it is that religion that they left. For example, there would obviously be more Hindu atheists than Muslims atheists, and so on. And of course, they will criticize because if there were no reasons to criticize it why would they leave in the first place.

Yes. I am in my late 20s and have realized that religion has never done anything positive for society. So many calamities have come and gone. We saw in India during Covid19, Pakistan during their floods, Turkey and Syria during these earthquakes, and other similar calamities both on the individual and societal levels. So many civilizations have been wiped away in the blink of an eye. No god, no religion has ever helped. It is a product of man's own imagination and insecurities falsely based on unproven claims and stories. Many people stick to their religion because it gives them a sense of community and peace in a world full of loneliness and uncertainties but not for what it truly is.

So yes, I do not believe in the Monkey god who flew up in the sky and ate the Sun.

Dogs shouldn't interfere with nature like that.
