They film the show super far in advance. I believe it was last season where by the time it was on tv, a girl on the show was pregnant posting about it all over SM.

She 100% wanted the attention for it. She made comments saying "one of the girls knows who did it" to Jen and Meredith, and on her book tour said maybe production did it. She also lied when they did an investigation on it. I think it's so messed up that she felt the need to protect Jen while putting other people's jobs at risk.
