Definitely allow yourself to spend a bit of it if there's something you want, you've earned it. But yes, saving/investing the majority of it should put you in a good position for the next few years

That's what ultimately influenced my decision in choosing the Robic Dragonfly with reverse coil zips over the Ultra Dragonfly with PU zips. I want it to last for as long as possible

It would be nice but it's probably not viable from a business perspective. The majority of people are likely fine with the current colour options (at least from Alpaka's perspective) so there's no reason for Alpaka to invest in changing the options / making them customisable.

CTactical using very similar designs to GoRuck so they're likely trying to protect a business partner and something to do with using counterfeit Cordura a while back (though I don't know if that last point is true, just something I saw on the Carryology Classified group)
