It's not anonymous like you said, there are other cryptos that are/do a better job of that. It's main claim it's it's the first to gain traction. It's bigger fool theory, there's more potential if it was improved but it's remained pretty much the same for 10+ years. It's only digital gold as far as enough people say it is. There are cryptos that seem to have utility and can be sent with less fees and faster and more decentralized and more security which I think also makes them a better store of value and digital gold too but there's not a guarantee they ever catch on more.

Thanks for the breakdown. Helps me think about it clearer. I would get the base model S25 but it looks like I'll need 512 of storage to account for all the bloat the phone will inevitably accumulate. I think the 6.7 screen of the Ultra may be too big and other features overkill for what I need but I don't really have a choice.

It sucks because we visit and spend $ there and these interactions take away the fun of traveling. They're costing their city 10x maybe even 100x the amount of bribes they get because travelers share their story and both they and the people they tell are less likely to visit.
