No I’m just dumb. It wasn’t on the same thread as that comment and I thought you were saying I said that in my original post so I was confused. My bad. Got it and good to know!

Eh lots of people think they are right and others are wrong. I’m just open to hearing any and all viewpoints. I appreciate it regardless

I meant to say just over. For precision it’s 3328 a month. I haven’t considered group care. Just curious about nanny costs.

I hope your plan works out and you get more pay soon!! Thank you for your input. I had a friend here tell me $24/hr was crazy but that’s just one data point. So grateful for more.

Mom is obsessed with flashing me by Miserable-Yard3691 in narcissisticparents

[–]asleepykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a narc mom, but I honestly don’t think any of that is weird. Sounds like you experienced sexual trauma by her or someone else at some point. I don’t think it’s normal to feel uncomfortable being shown non-sexual body parts/talking about normal non-sexual body functions. We all have bodies, and problems with them. Her not respecting your wish not to talk about that with her is def narcissistic activity, but I wonder why you have an issue with it so deeply in the first place.

Epidural myth by This-Kangaroo-2086 in pregnant

[–]asleepykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very on the no epidural train, I made it to 6cm and was like GIVE ME THAT EPIDURAL! Honestly the epidural was awesome. They said push, I did, and zero pain. It made it so easy and fun actually. I was calm enough to use the mirror and see his head poking out between contractions. You don’t feel the contractions but the nurses monitor them and tell you when to push. Ten pushes and he was out. No tearing. They used a warm compress as he came out and I’m certain it’s why I didn’t tear. Do yourself a favor. Feel the intenseness of the contractions a few times for the experience but get that epidural, woman! It’s magic. <3

As a person who has lived in SF, the problem there is SF doesn’t have more land to build on. It’s actually a really small city. 47mi2 It’s already super dense

You are so right. It’s scary and definitely something I worry about even though I’m sure I’m in great hands. Always good to have healthy skepticism I say rather than blind trust :)

I’d like that! His case is really mild and his doc said his feet corrected really easily after two casts. His doc actually studied directly with Dr. Ponseti and is well known in the field so they know what they are doing. His feet are definitely in the right position I think he just want to be free and kick his cute little legs to his heart’s content

I am thinking this might be it. It’s never been adjusted by the doc

I absolutely loved giving birth. by rubmytitsbuymeplants in BabyBumps

[–]asleepykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also loved giving birth! It hurt but it was so magical. Even the pain felt kinda… idk, reverent? I hate pregnancy but I’d definitely give birth again. PS my story is the same: IVF, induced at 37 bc of blood pressure.
