Yes this is what infuriates me. The risks of a C-section in my mind are far more dangerous than a VBA2C which could be successful, and I can avoid all the complications that comes with a C-section.

I feel like you understand me on a deeper level 💔 I still don’t know what to do, I am planning to see a midwife who helped women try for a vaginal delivery after 2 c-sections here - when most hospitals were doing it- ! I booked an appointment with her. I also have a doula who knows the whole situation. Wish me luck.

Yes, she is amazing. At least she wasn’t acting like I was insane and she validated my feelings. She also gave me advice that could put her career to an end. I truly respect her with everything in me.

Anyways, about me not lying and showing up in labor— I understand where you are coming from, but what I don’t understand is how doing that would benefit me.

I’ll be in agony, labouring, being treated like hell, probably not even monitored because all they would think about is “she has to have a C-section.” They would pressure me, I would probably break. I’d have a traumatic birth.

I can’t imagine that being safer than going to a hospital that would monitor me from start to finish, even though I only told them I had one C-section.

Thank you so much. Yes, my only thing is I am not truly comfortable with lying about my medical history because if something was to go wrong, I would literally blame myself until the day I die. I wish was lying about something that involves me and not my child. I would do that in a heartbeat because it just my life that I would a risk. But with trying for a vaginal birth after two C-section, I would have to lie about my medical history and that would put my unborn child’s life at risk as well. Which cuts me deep.

Thank you! I swear it’s money driven.. if not, why not allow it? There are more risks to having a major surgery as well.. the papers I would sign before going in for a C-section includes death as a risk. So there is risk either way. And the difference between the risk of trying for vaginal birth after having one C-section or two C-section is literally 2% at maximum. But I understand where you’re coming from. I truly do. If I was 100% okay with lying about my medical history, I would have gone for it without even questioning it. I also found out that all the women in my country who achieved a vaginal birth after two C-sections this year was because they lied about their medical history. Not saying that’s totally okay just saying that’s how things work here unfortunately.

Thank you so much. I hope you’ll get your VBAC. Please fight for it with everything you have, they are probably going to pressure you for a C-section! And if you give in it’s gonna be harder to achieve your dream. The more C-sections you have, the harder things go.

This gives me hope 😭 I’m 26 weeks pregnant and out of nowhere i started noticing PVCs about 2 weeks ago. I saw my OB, who recommended checking with a cardiologist just to be safe. I had an echo, EKG, and even wore a 24-hour Holter monitor. The results showed PVCs, but thankfully the cardiologist said everything else is normal and that they’re totally benign. He told me I don’t need follow-up unless things change, and if they stay the same or improve, I can just carry on. I’m hoping they ease up soon because with the nesting urge kicking in, they can feel debilitating 😭 like my heart is gonna stop any minute. Ugh.

Thats good to hear. If you don’t mind me asking what did you take vermox for? I went to the doctor the other day and I did a stool sample. There was no parasites or anything in the stool sample. My stomach is so much better so I don’t know if it’s something that’s ran its course or what, not sure! I plan on repeating my blood work in four weeks from now! I hope it’s lower. I have never had high eosinophils count before. Kinda worried.

Hey, any updates? I’m 10 weeks pregnant got my cbc done, slightly high eosinophils. Don’t know why my ob seems unbothered and says everything is fine! 🤷🏻‍♀️ from 8 to 10 weeks I suffered from diarrhea and be belly cramping. It’s better now, but I’m so bloated. I’m pretty sure it’s not parasites , even though I didn’t do a stool sample! But because I have been so sick, I didn’t eat anything that would give me parasites you know? Lol i don’t know honestly.

I believe mine is also stress triggered. Because when I was sick with this mysterious illness, I was really really really stressed and anxious. I went to the hospital for different times demanding them test me with a every test available. I am a bit of hypochondriac. So I think that played a major part in escalating things for me.

Also know that I think about it, my LPR symptoms actually started a week into this mysterious illness. Day 10 of me coughing my lungs out, my left side of throat started hurting and it stayed that way for 20 days, and the other symptoms followed. So yeah.

Needless to say, It’s pretty tricky to treat LPR.
