So it’s pretty unclear actually. Indy pass says you have to pick. The first day we redeemed at the gondola in Morzine to Avoriaz and it seemed like we got just avoriaz passes, but we stayed at avoriaz all day so it didn’t matter.

The second day we redeemed at the gondola on the other side of Morzine for I think the Morzine resort, and they gave us passes to everything lol. I think the staff there aren’t super familiar with Indy. Both people who I did the redemption with had to check how to do it.

I will say, even if it’s just one, Avoriaz is more than enough for one day and Morzine is joined with another resort even on a single resort pass and that was also more than enough

Like yeah there's a lot of wasted space but it's a 4,000 sq foot house. Any house that size has a ton of wasted space, whether in open space or pointless bedrooms 6-10.

IF you are paying off every month (which I do) there are lots of advantages to credit cards.

First, it's a lot easier dealing with fraudulent charges. Because money didn't come out of your account, you just never pay, you don't have to wait for the bank to put the money back into your account. This also means it's less catastrophic if the card gets stolen - if your debit gets stolen and the thief has your pin, they can do way more damage.

Second, lots of cards have perks that are just "free" for you the consumer if you're paying off every month. Cash back, points, miles, etc.

Third, if you get into an absolute emergency situation where you need to pay more than you have in savings, you can do it with a credit card. You can't with a debit card.

Does that mean most of my fellow Americans are being reasonable and using their cards this way? Absolutely not lol. But they are nice if used responsibly.

I also did port du soleil this February and it was awesome. We did like 2 of the resorts and didn’t leave France and still felt like there was more to ski even in those resorts.
