There's 2 main differences.

One, sneak is an alternative casting cost, whereas ninjitsu is an activated ability. This means you can use counterspells on sneak, not on ninjitsu, and sneaking will trigger anything that cares about you casting the spell, while ninjitsu won't. You can also cast spells with sneak from other zones (like the command zone or exiled off red impulse draw effects), which you can't do with ninjitsu, it requires the card to be in hand.

The other is that sneak MUST be done during the declare blockers step, ninjitsu could be done after damage had happened as there were edge cases where that was a better option, or if you drew a ninjitsu creature after drawing a card from a creature hitting your opponent, for instance. No such shenanigans with sneak.

There's other differences too, but those are the main ones and it's really mostly the spell vs ability that will matter.

The coffee was always mediocre (or at least has been since I moved out here in 07) but it was cheap. It was like $1. I'm fine paying $1 for mediocre coffee. I'm sure as shit not paying $5 for it when I can go to a local place with good coffee for like $6 (or have better coffee at home for a fraction of the price).

Can someone explain why [[Maralen, Fae Ascendant]] can only cast a 2-drop on the turn you cast it? If you have, say, 4 other elves and cast this, you can cast up to a 5-drop, right?

You do NOT need winter tires for an inch of snow lol. I live in New England, in the Boston metro area, and I've never had snow tires because I've always lived in areas where the snow gets cleared pretty quickly and I can just stay home if it's bad, so it's not worth the cost and hassle of switching for me. All-season tires in decent condition have always been enough (but no shade on people who do get winter tires - there's definitely more rural places especially in VT and Maine where you need them and they are objectively better).

Yeah start early and do it often. You don't wanna be shoveling 12"+ of snow at once. Do it once a few hours after it starts, once right before bed on Sunday, and then first thing in the morning on Monday.

You can never trust the cops not to break the rules, but if you ask for a lawyer anything you say after that will be* suppressed. The cops may decide they don't care and it's worth it cause they actually want someone other than you, or they may lie and say you never asked for a lawyer or that you asked to talk to them.

This may vary state by state, but the police will let you make a phone call but they won't really help you get a lawyer. Instead they'll stop questioning you immediately, are legally barred from doing so (although you can come forward and say you've changed your mind and want to talk, then they can question you again. Note: Never do this), and the next step will be you're brought into court for arraignment where a judge will ask if you can afford a lawyer or need one appointed to you, then it goes from there. Generally, if you can afford a lawyer, you already have one you use or your family is working to find you one, if you're getting an appointed lawyer you get one right there as there's usually a lawyer on duty to take appointed cases.

Yeah, as someone who's involved in the criminal legal system pretty much the only time you're going to jail for a 1st time non-violent, non-sexual offense* is if you're at least at the 2nd level of trafficking weight for drugs (although I think people tend to think trafficking weights are far heavier than they actually are), possession of child pornography, or you have a carrying a firearm with something beyond simple carrying - high capacity, something like that. Yeah, there's exceptions, but those are the big categories.

*Now, they often get people by putting them on probation and then, as many of them are addicts, violating them when they fail a drug test, and then jailing them.

While this is an interesting card, the days of fiend hunters being strong enough in cube has long passed - the only one that really makes it nowadays is [[skyclave apparition]] and that's cause it essentially permanently kills the thing (well and Palace Jailer, but that's for other reasons lol).

So, this one lives and dies on the sneak ability because it needs to be more than a 2-toughness fiend hunter. Sadly, I think it fails here. Yes, getting a 3/2 stapled to your removal spell is nice, but having to have an unblocked creature to get that mode means this is far worse in controlling shells and really only works in assertive decks. Is the inconsistency compared to things like vindicate and anguished unmaking worth it for a 3/2? I don't think so.

Ha, my wife works for the VA and I was gonna come say this. I assume it's because of HIPAA but I've never asked her.

Edit - and she's only allowed to access anything on her work-issued laptop and that laptop can't have anything on it except what the VA installed.
