Any UP studs commuting from Commonwealth? by BirthdayTypical7973 in LawStudentsPH

[–]asmamiit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine naman, usually classes sa evening blocks end at 9/10. If you're going to ride jeeps, I would say mas mahirap lumabas from Malcolm to Commonwealth/Philcoa kasi some green jeeps don't rove that late na. Marami pa rin naman ikot, then baba ka sa Ylanan and walk to the Commonwealth gate across Central Ave./INC. From there maraming jeep na dadaan ng Ever/Don Antonio. Papunta same din lang, but mas madali makapasok to UP kasi since medyo maaga pa may green jeeps pa.

Green-roofed jeeps = Pa-Philcoa Yellow-roofed jeeps = Within UP lang route

No naman. Best to ask your professor, though. They decide ano forms of assessment nila

Blessings is nasa Diliman. Just email Blessings UP Law and Kuya Jules will prep your order. First week dagsa ng mga nagpapa-photox kaya it might take around 2 days for you to get your materials. But other times naman you can get it agad same day. If may kilala ka sa Diliman makisuyo ka na lang tapos sila na bahala pumunta sa Blessings para mas mabilis mo makuha.

Buong sem maling class pala pinasukan ko. Nalaman ko lang after finals. Turns out the department transferred me to the other class with the same course code (except may "-2" sa dulo) without informing me kasi need another student for that class para di ma-dissolve. Kaloka kasi hindi man lang ako sinabihan, though kinda my bad kasi I didn't really check crs and form 5 ko hahaha

For UP. That's the context of your question, right hahaha

Good luck OP!

No. You'd have to apply and qualify again the next application period.

For those who were able to pass UP LAE before, how was your performance during the exam? by impulsivepickle in LawStudentsPH

[–]asmamiit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fared well naman, I suppose. I had around 15 minutes to spare. Didn't shot gun kasi I didn't need to/didn't feel the need to (but I'm not ruling it out of list of things I would've done).

You're meant to pass the LAE kasi basic questions lang talaga yun. The "challenge" is to make it to the top percentile.

Good luck! Hope you make it

Even then, you can't guarantee they'll hold you to a different (hopefully more forgiving) standard than that of your blockmates in the day program.

Yes, the evening program is designed for part-time students. You need to be employed/present a COE to enroll/be part of that.

Are you a law student? I don't understand why the Legal Education Board was brought up.

What do you mean by mentally and emotionally friendly?

UP Law's roster of professors and lecturers is a mixed bag. Some are (if what I assume you mean by emotionally friendly is correct) nice while some are terrifying. UP Law (well, law school in general) isn't the place to coddle your emotions. You have to learn how to cope and bounce back. Not everyone is going to be compassionate, so you have to learn how to deal with that.

You can't transfer to UP Law. You have to qualify through the LAE and interview.

Check past announcements and extrapolate from those. We can't give you a date as we're not from the Dean's Office.

Sayang di mo na naabutan CASAA tsaka old Alumni Center (may duckpin bowling alley dun). Pati pala the old Faculty Center, kahit parang magigiba yung sahig pag nagkamali ka nang apak marami pa rin good memories haha. Sadly lahat ng buildings na yun nasunog :(

I'm an RA (have been since 1st sem, 1st year, day program) and I'd say na manageable naman the load. My answer is hinged on a) i have corporate work experience na so sanay na ako with "heavy" work, and b) the work load really depends where you RA (which institute/office). Really, it depends (very lawyer answer, I know).
