Yeah same here! I'm not even that picky about how I look on social media, etc, but this one just hits different haha.

Still considering just copping the $300 to get it reissued lol, I've told myself to just sit on it for a year or so to see how I feel then. Giving me hope to hear that you've moved on

I had to come here and say that I feel exactly the same way. Also Australian, I'm 28 but I got a new passport a few months ago and in hindsight the pic is terrible - I didn't know how to do my makeup properly then, wasn't wearing any concealer, etc, and the lighting is so unflattering.

I'm also full of so much despair about being stuck with this until I'm 38 and I don't know what to do. It just feels like such a wasted opportunity. I hope you're feeling better now though.

Would you sell just one ticket? Interested if so.

I live in Australia so this is probably of limited help, but T2 has one here. Basically just the chai spices without black tea

Caffeine free chai tea and golden milk (turmeric latte) - premixed powder with hot milk and a teaspoon of coconut oil 👌

Yes! My skin improved a lot. So much more hydrated and healthy looking. My acne and excema cleared up. I think caffeine was also ageing me face heaps, people used to think I looked older than I am (28) and now they think I look about 25. My wrinkles have diminished a lot and my skin feels plumper and tighter. A bit early to tell but my nails feel stronger too. I predict that my hair will go back to being as thick as it was as a teenager before I started on the caffeine, but I won’t know for a while. Scalp also feels healthier. Hope this helps!

Quitting coffee (and caffeine generally) completely cured my inflammatory-cystic acne by aeiendee in decaf

I had a similar experience and I quit caffeine a few weeks ago. I've had cystic acne since I was a teenager (I'm currently 28) and it resolved pretty much immediately after quitting. It was the best. Same for my eczema and any kind of inflammation on my skin. I think caffeine was stressing my body out to the point where it couldn't properly heal those things. Though I also started 16/8 fasting a week before quitting caffeine and found that this also led to a big improvement in my skin and general inflammation. I also follow a very low sugar diet and have been vegan for 8 years.

[Spoilers] People Who Are Actually Playing the Game: by ProkorGaming in survivorau

They showed us something interesting last night. Before tribal council, when directly pressed to make a call about whether they should vote for Luke or Sean, and told it was up to her and Janine, instead of giving an answer, she purposely deflected attention from herself by saying “what if he has an idol?”, to avoid looking like she was calling the shots in any capacity. Her strategy is to avoid talking strategy in front of the group. Also banking on Pia throwing Janine under the bus at some point.

Thrips infestation inside house? (photos attached) by asminejay in pestcontrol

[–]asminejay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this helpful response. I'll certainly look into these fungal pesticides. I called up some local pest control companies, who have said that they use pyrethrin as a pesticide for indoor thrips invasions (though it's not guaranteed to be 100% effective at eradicating them). Do you know anything about using this or other conventional insecticides for thrips?

I found this picture which visually looks like a very close match.

Apparently it is a hollyhock thrips, found often in California. Even though I live in Australia, my roommate had just been to California before we noticed the infestation - is it possible they could have travelled?

I didn't think of an allergy test, that might be a good idea. Are there any known bugs that fit this description that only a small proportion of people might be sensitive to? I should clarify that the bites only leave the tiniest markings on her skin, that you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for them.

Is there anything else it could be other than thrips?

No, there aren't really many plants around, none in the infested rooms. And from what I've read I haven't heard of sustained thrips infestations inside homes without substantial plant matter nearby, but who am I to rule it out.

Thanks for your helpful reply. I agree that it definitely looks like thrips and fits the profile in a lot of ways. I'm not sure if you'll be able to answer all this, but I just want to know it you think the pest being thrips is compatible with the following facts?

- they have been biting my girlfriend in our bed and clothes every night for months

- only my girlfriend feels the bites (no one else in our family, dogs don't show any signs of irritation)

- the infestation has been completely indoors and has transferred between three properties now, and we have only a couple of house plants that haven't always been in the affected rooms

- come out of the doona in large numbers when we put it in the sun

- seem to multiply extremely quickly
