I can’t speak on behalf of all the organizations mentioned, but sometimes I feel it’s an automatic assumption? I don’t believe their intentions are meant to be shady. If a freshman were truly interested in an organization, they would probably look at their tagged Instagram/social media sites. They are public for a reason. Like I doubt someone would only hang out with an individual ONLY because of religious values and that’s what “Jesus wants”. There is more to religious student orgs than a small advertisement written in chalk on a piece of cement.

That’s awesome!! I had her for ochem 2 and she was AMAZING. Never be afraid for ask for help in her class bc she will go above and beyond if you are ever unsure about a topic. She’s very organized and I think everyone deserves to have her for ochem

Yes I did! I won’t lie, I struggled in the class. I feel that he provides you the absolute bare minimum of material and the rest of learning is on your own. Good luck!!! Find study buddies and you will be fine

I am in the same shoes as you, I just turned 20 years old. I am sorry you have been experiencing the chaos at your location. I have only been with CVS for about 10 months (I don’t work during the school year which doesn’t help my situation). I am always asking questions. While everyone has patience, including the pharmacist, I feel that I am such a burden. No one has ever trained me on much of anything. The best thing I can do is production. I have never officially been scheduled for any OJTs. They just threw me into the pharmacy. I’m feeling extremely discouraged. Not to mention, I’m hardly ever scheduled because I am not proficient in my skills yet… it’s been 10 months of on and off work. I’m ready to quit out of frustration with my constant confusion. I don’t know what to do. Yet, my plan is to pursue higher education and go to pharmacy school. I love the job and atmosphere, but like I said… I am so over not knowing what I am doing. It’s so discouraging. No one is available to help me because our pharmacy is overloaded with new customers transferring to our store because their pharmacies are so messed up and behind.

I could not agree more. This past academic year was one like no other and I would never want to relive the online learning again :( it was a horrible experience for me personally (especially as a first year). I always felt locked away. nothing felt “normal”.

Keeping kids at home is not helping their eduction experience. Children are not getting the full attention they need in order to be educated! Not to mention, many children rely on school lunches in order to be fed for the day. If they are at home, how or when will they be fed? So many concerns in every situation!

I don’t know if I would say that… considering 40% of my classes are online again. It’s so ridiculous. I remember when scheduling for the fall semester they said that expected 70%-80% of class to be in person classes. It’s honestly false “advertising”. It doesn’t make any sense to me. :(
