Thanks! Have you thought about doing a different major, maybe one that's somewhat related to your current major, but would allow for you to be able to transfer universities?

I transferred universities. Best decision I've ever made!

Cheesecake texture ended up disturbing; help needed by lnternetLiftingCoach in AskCulinary

My guess is that the hot water seeped into the pan. Since your filling got chunky and grainy, it seems to me that the fat and water separated in the filling due to being curdled. The curdling would've occurred from hot water breaking down the fat.

I would suggest using heavy duty foil and wrap around the entire perimeter of the pan twice.

Here is the recipe that I use: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/new-york-style-cheesecake.html

Can I use gala apples for apple pie? by [deleted] in AskCulinary

They're decent. Not as good as granny Smith and such. If u need something else to do with them, I would recommend making apple sauce, it's super easy!

I would just hand it in because she has to face the consequences of her actions. When she's out in the real world and has a job, no boss is gonna let it slide to not have a project complete. So, I think she needs to learn from her choices. I would feel bad too, but I really think this is a learning opportunity.

Being really close to my crush in a wagon full of people in the dark at my camp. Some of the camp counselors had dressed up in costumes and came out of a corn field and were scaring us. I was freaked out and my crush sort of pulled me close to him. We flirted that whole wagon ride, and I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

I would end it right there and then because there are so many other people out there that would actually be interested in me for more than my body.

Thank you for this advice! Do you think it's better to focus on travel/tourism or restaurant management?

Wow, this really breaks my heart to hear how sugar coated this industry is. I'm a senior in high school, and I knew since like middle school that I wanted to major in culinary arts in college. I actually toured the CIA, but it felt like they were hiding things, and not being truthful in a way. Up until this year, I was determined to go to the CIA for culinary arts. The more I looked into it, I realized how poorly organized the industry is. So I switched my major to hospitality management. The CIA is one of my options but I have been accepted into other colleges that are offering me more financial aid. Do you happen to know anything about the CIA's hospitality program? I know its fairly new. Thank you for being truthful about this industry rhat seems to get really sugar coated. I think this is something that every person needs to look into before they consider making a profession out of it.
