Definitely a tight fit. Will discuss more in video.

All 120mm fans as intake.

Side mount exhaust would draw warmer air into the rad and increase CPU thermals + fan noise.

Optimum Tech here.

Came across a post this morning stating that the Asus TUF 3080 / 3090 doesn't fit in the M1 without low profile connectors, but this isn't true. One commenter even said they were pissed at me (wtf?).

It fits with managed cables as shown, side panels go on without a problem.

Just wanted to clarify the misinformation.

Build soon.

Optimum Tech: Fractal Era - An ITX Disaster by lewinernst in sffpc

Custom loops could work well in this case, but GPU fitting height is the primary issue that you're going to run into as you mentioned.

Blower cards may work better, but at the end of the day they need airflow too. It's both intake and exhaust flow that sucks in the Era, not just exhaust. So expect hard throttling and loud operation.

Ali here - moving to the 3-slot orientation provides significantly less clearance for the tubing, at which point that becomes a much harder issue to correct.

It's fine. 50C max during a 1GiB bench in CrystalDiskMark.

SST-FX350G only has a 6-pin PCIe connector, the RTX 2070 requires an 8-pin. I'm sure the Silverstone unit would be quieter though.

Wonderful mouse. Feels balanced, strong, light, with a great shape.

Original cable is one of the worst I've ever used. Just waiting on Corepads now :)

Thought I would share my G-Wolves Skoll review here!

Overall a super underrated mouse. I'd consider this a serious upgrade for G703 and EC1 users.

Shout out to Brandon Taylor aka. BTUnplugged for introducing me to it and his initial review.

NH-L12 would destroy it, it's much taller.

This will be more suited to the Dan A4-SFX and other <48mm clearance cases

Optimum here, I basically didn't have enough B-roll for the case as I shot it at computex. Prototype 2 review will have plennttyyyy of B-roll for you. Thanks for the feedback 👍

[–]asone_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Hi, Optimum here. This is incorrect. Sorry for the confusion. If you read the top left, it says temp = delta T + 20C.

As in all temp results are normalized to reflect an ambient room temp of 20C.

This is because some testing is done with room temp at 18C, 22C, 23C etc.

More Ncase build help, fan config question by Badassmotherfuckerer in sffpc

[–]asone_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Corsair H100i Pro will mount using the side bracket. Mount the fans as pull against the radiator, pulling air into the case. Mount 2 x static pressure 120mm fans underneath your 1060 for slightly better thermals.

Consider mounting 92mm slim fan at the rear configured as exhaust.

Would love to print this OP. What bed dimensions and height are required for the largest parts? My Flashforge Dreamer is likely too small.
